He threw away so many wonderful songs as B-sides, but they survive today and people can finally hear them without a huge search. Back in the day, we had to scour music shops asking if they had the 12", the CD single, sometimes a rare 7". A few times we came up lucky.
Wow! One of my preferred mozz song ever. I used to pump up the volume and dance spinning as if I was floating. Sound is somehow ethereal and mozz vocals whispering their lyrics. How beautiful. Thanks!
Recently I recommended Fatima Mansions on this channel. Unfortunately I have just discovered that the man behind the group, Cathal Coughlan, died a few days ago. He was also a founding member of Microdisney, and was involved in various other collaborations as well as critically-acclaimed solo work. Fatima Mansions' 1990 album, Viva Dead Ponies, was apparently Morrissey's favourite album of that year; he also produced work under the name Bubonique in collaboration with the late Irish comedian Sean Hughes (another acquaintance of Morrissey). A good starting point for FM is the 1989 track Only Losers Take The Bus (inspired by a quote from Margaret Thatcher), and also their 'tribute' to one of Canada's favourite sons: a cover of Bryan Adams' monolithic Everything I Do.
This is such a beautiful song. Putting this song on right now after a long day at work.

One of Morrissey's most beautiful love songs along with 'Come Back to Camden', both likely written about the same person
Watching you reacting is like looking into a mirror me then!💞
'Time will wipe you out..' The song pulls oneself in; a race against time.

Wahoo ! You can survive under the sunlight ! 😂 Renversant !
Not sure THE LOOP. Or BACK EYED SUSAN by Morrissey has actually been covered.
How about something a bit newer like “Staircase at the University.”
This should have been a album track not a B side
