Wasn't surprised I knew it was him when he went with her and realized the mask was to hide the face of a character we've already seen.
They pulled this crap in Picard as well to hide the face if the Borg character with a mask so we wouldn't know who she is.
Disney you need to get better than that this plot gimmick is so old school it doesn't work anymore.
Putting a mask on a character only tells us now that it's a character we've already seen the face of making it simple to deduce who.
Soon as I saw the mask I was OK they are trying to hide the face of someone we've seen already and since she wasn't alone it was easy to guess it was him including his threats she would be killed as she left him hanging in a tree.
He was too invested with the sith just to be an innocent bystander.
Marrok was a masked character in Ashoka and he wasn’t anyone we’ve met before so I don’t think that’s always true. There are plenty of characters that look cool and wear masks that don’t have that plot twist eveytime
