I know she's an ex-wife but Judith from Two and Half Men should have definitely been mentioned on this list. She's both selfish and manipulative and will do anything to destroy Alan's happiness/ relationships. She uses Alan's child support to feed her own greedy luxurious needs instead of using it to benefit her son, Jake and projects all her problems on Alan, even going as far to say that he stole her youth. She also cheats on her new husband Herb with Alan and doesn't know who the father of her child is.
Let's get something straight, Anna Gunn's performance as Skyler White was excellent. While I admit she was annoying in the first two seasons and she did some pretty dumb stuff (like anything involving Ted), but for the predicament, she was in, her decisions made sense on some level and she became a really compelling character that I enjoyed. And to be honest neither Skyler nor Walt are what you call spouse of the year.
Ryan Brooks - She really was excellent. I felt really bad when she got so much hate mail or comments that she wrote a open letter to some paper talking about it. She made a great show even better.
I have never understood this much hate towards Skyler White, seriously! She is criticised for not supporting her husband - who went from a decent man to a murderous, ruthless and egocentric DRUG DEALER - and trying to "spoil his party"! He risked his and his family lives while she was trying to protect them. He destroyed everyone around him. She got "in" because she had no alternative and realized he was about to fuck everything up. She cheated on him because she was fed up of his brazen lies. Hating her makes Walter White look like a hero and, as much as a love him as a character, he was the bad guy, not her.

As much as I would love to hate on Skyler, I just can't....Not saying she was an angel but yet I think she was just the victim of Walter's games and to her credit, she really did try to keep her family together until he was to far gone
I've never understood why Skyler is hated so much. To me her actions were perfectly reasonable. You talk about her being manipulative, as if Walt isn't the epitome of manipulation. Lol

Well, karma goes to her. She lost all of her children and 2 of them died on poison which ironically, she poisoned her husband through her cousin. She tried to make The Tyrell kids got arrested but she got arrested too and she was naked through the street and both of the Tyrell kids escape the punishment. Can't wait for next season to see her downfall because the rightful queen will come to Westeros with a lot of armies, the alliances from Tyrell, Sand Snakes / Martell, Greyjoys, Tyrion Lannister and Varys as her advisor and 3 dragons.
Lynette Scavo? The hell? 7 years later and that’s still wrong. She’s not a saint, but compared to the other 3, she’s the best wife and literally has the most stable relationship. It’s obviously Gabrielle Solis, because not only did she cheat on her husband, she had an affair with an underage boy which lead to her husband’s mother dying and many other things she hasn’t been punished for. Bree isn’t much better (nor is Susan), but Bree also is portrayed as not a good person and she is seen as bad in a lot of her situations. I feel Gabby gets barely any consequences for her actions, which are definitely more self centered. And even in the video game, it implies that she has a thing for underage guys.
I'm not gonna say that I'm in favour of Lori, but come on: she thinks her husband is dead and she was given comfort during a super stressful time. It's super complicated for her.
What always bothered me about Nip/Tuck was the show ended, never having so much as addressed the fact that Julia viciously smothered the poor woman from the plane crash, she believed to be her mother, in Season 3.
What was so wrong with Lynette Scavo. She was awesome. From that show, you could have chosen Edie (manipulative), Gabrielle (pedophile), or worst yet, Bree (OCD). Why Lynette?, who was the closest thing to a real working mom on a show like Desperate Housewives. Even Alice (murder conspirator) left something to be desired.
I don't get the hate people have for Lori Grimes. Sure, she's not perfect, noone is, yet when she finds out her husband is still alive she dumps Shane instantly, she chose Rick all the way not being indecisive as you claim in the video.
smeagolkl i agree, all the time i heard Lori is a bitch, whore and all, and since i started the series, i found nothing worth calling her bitch nor whore? i think she's a very strong person, with a lot of character actually.
I agree. Lori is nowhere near as bad as people always say. She didn’t know Rick was alive and she made things clear to Shane when she realised. But the most unfair is people hating on Breaking Bad’s Skyler. Her husband was a meth cook, a liar, a murderer but she’s the evil one because she’s not supportive enough?? She supported him through his illness and was a living wife until she found out the truth about him. The bad things she did (laundering money, tricking the car wash owner) were in support of Walt or in self-defense (using her pregnancy to get out of being arrested was because she was falsely accused of theft). And Sky was a great character. Interesting, strong, smart, and yeah, morally grey.
Aias IRL I thought skylar was a ride or die. Obviously she was hesitant and disgusted in the beginning. I liked her. I also did get why people hated Walt ultimately he was just trying to provide for his family
After binge watching Breaking Bad long after it ended, I do not get the Skylar hatred. I think it was just the popular thing to hate her, so people did.
skyler was annoying just because we saw the series from walt's perspective. She actually was right all along. If Walt just quit immideatly and told her everything, she probably would eventually forgive him
Skyler was annoying in the first 2 seasons when she didn't know what Walt was doing and was invading his privacy a bit, but after what Walt was doing was exposed to her, her actions were always justified. Even when she fucked Ted, that was done to get Walt to leave her, because she couldn't find any other way to make him leave and not bring his dangers at home where his CHILDREN LIVE. Remember the scene where Walt is taking a shower, and the Twins walk into the house, waiting for him to finish they they can acquaint him with their axe? Imagine that scene if Skyler hadn't stormed out of the house, and the kids were home. They probably would've all been killed.
Claire from modern family shouldve at least been an honorable mention. She literally hates when her husband is liked, having fun, or perceived her as more successful than her by others.
These are mostly correct with the exception of Married with children, people can’t seem to grasp the fact that every character in the show was an adaptation of stereotypically bad family members. She was meant to be a terrible mother/wife and that was part of the humor that made the show. Look at the kids! Look at AL! Look at the neighbors! Everyone was the worst person they could possibly be and that was all part of the ‘tongue in cheek’ humor the writers were going for and FYI it ran for eleven seasons, thankfully a few people got it
Peggy Blumquist making the honorable mentions is amazing since we only go to know her for only 10 episodes and we KNEW she was crazy from the start. She basically murdered her husband with her actions but not just her husband a whole freaking mob gang and 2 dozen of policemen. But Lynette Scavo? She was great. She won an Emmy for it and Lynette and Tom were the only couple that never divorced in the entire show's run.
Peggy isn't great, but Al is a much worse husband than she is a bad wife. Al is terrible and deserves everything he gets. Which is what makes the show funny.
if you remember Skyler from the beginning, you see she's not so bad, she was a solid and supporting wife, she started to get annoying when Walt started with trying to cover up his lies, i mean when you're married for someone for that long, its obvious to tell if they are lying, and Walt did a crappy job at that. try to look things from her perspective, Walt made her that way later on
@@puchimausu9180 I remember this was early in the show and I believe she was pregnant at the time. They were in the kitchen and she begged him to stop.
MRS. OLESON! YES! I noticed that you're using the "Harriett's Happenings" scenes-I loved when Albert changed the type to 100% off everything and everyone was taking all the merchandise off the shelves! Karma came-a-calling for Harriett for all her gossiping
Vera Bates was unfaithful, blackmails a noble family, literally gets her husband in jail once for a crime she did and THEN again for committing suicide and framing her husband for murder-
Why didn't Claire Dunphy make it on this list? She's the worst sitcom wife (and worst fictional character, for that matter) I've ever seen! She's bossy, she's controlling, she's dishonest, she's hypocritical, she's rude, she's a bully to everyone around her, she has a massive victim complex and an ego the size of Jupiter! Not only that, she throws temper tantrums like a toddler the minute someone disagrees or has a differing opinion to her or she doesn't get her way, and the world seems to reward her for being a disgusting person and she thinks that it's everyone else who's wrong, and she's right. All. The. Time. What did Phil SEE in her!?!?
Omg y’all put Harriet Oleson on the list and threw me back to my childhood. Good job. Although the actress who played her was the nicest person on the set.

Aias IRL I thought skylar was a ride or die. Obviously she was hesitant and disgusted in the beginning. I liked her. I also did get why people hated Walt ultimately he was just trying to provide for his family
Gemma from SOA! God talk about underrated!!
After binge watching Breaking Bad long after it ended, I do not get the Skylar hatred. I think it was just the popular thing to hate her, so people did.
Maris isn't on here? Come on, man.
The old wife on the Ozarks who specializes in coffee
skyler was annoying just because we saw the series from walt's perspective.
Debra from Everybody Loves Raymond, that would be a fucking nightmare.
Well, Skyler made look like Shell was going into labour, to avoid getting arrested for a crime her sister commited.
Claire from modern family shouldve at least been an honorable mention. She literally hates when her husband is liked, having fun, or perceived her as more successful than her by others.
At first she may seemed annoying...in later seasons I started to feel bad for her when Walt became evil
10:17 I'm sorry but in the actual TV show I laughed so hard.
The HM seems harsh on Lynette. She was pretty alright really. Surely Gabby is worse?
I love that Harriet Olsen is on this list! It's not often Little House makes countdowns like this.
Ok
We need Top ten worst TV husbands😡
These are mostly correct with the exception of Married with children, people can’t seem to grasp the fact that every character in the show was an adaptation of stereotypically bad family members. She was meant to be a terrible mother/wife and that was part of the humor that made the show. Look at the kids! Look at AL! Look at the neighbors! Everyone was the worst person they could possibly be and that was all part of the ‘tongue in cheek’ humor the writers were going for and FYI it ran for eleven seasons, thankfully a few people got it
On my list:
- Hyacinth Bucket
- Claire Underwood
Sherry Palmer from 24 is an underrated one. Yes!!!! I'm glad she's on here lol.
Which is what makes the show funny.
really Gemma Teller doesn't even get a dishonorable mention.
WE FUCKING GET IT YOU HAVE TIMESTAMPS!
ikr
Sherry Palmer should have been #1 on the list.
if you remember Skyler from the beginning, you see she's not so bad, she was a solid and supporting wife, she started to get annoying when Walt started with trying to cover up his lies, i mean when you're married for someone for that long, its obvious to tell if they are lying, and Walt did a crappy job at that. try to look things from her perspective, Walt made her that way later on
So glad to see Lorri here, really didn't like her character.
Funny, there was a list on MsMojo about the male spouse being terrible.
Where is Terri Schuester from Glee?
Where's Gemma Teller?
Why didn’t lily from gossip girl make this list?
Dating myself here, but Knots Landing's Abby Ewing (as portrayed by Donna Mills) should definitely be on this list.
Lynnette Housewifes don’t deserve this list. There were other housewifes more deserving, like slapping her husband.
how did jemma teller-morrow not make this list. that character killed 2 husbands and her son's wife while high. also she was the queen of manipulation
Harriet Oleson from Little House on the Prairie.
Yay! It’s on the list!!!
Time stamps are wrong for Lori Grimes, fyi.
I also noticed number 4 is earlier than number 5
I noticed too.
"YOU HAD ONE JOB TO DO!"
I suppose its supposed to be 8:10
they also got in the meaning of the quote " well-behaved women seldom make history" wrong...
Lynnette should ve gotten a spot on the list and not just a mention
12:35 Carmela and Father Phil finally got to do what they always wanted 😂😂😂😂😂😂
HOW THE HELL IS TERRI FROM GLEE NOT HERE WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
omg yess
haha omg, I was just thinking the same thing!
idk, Terri wasn't perfect but, I kinda thought Will Schuester was a slime...
who watches glee lol
Skyfoogle
fags
Notice you forgot to mention that Skylar had an affair AFTER her husband raped her. Or did you forget that part.
Wait, when did Walt rape her?!
@@puchimausu9180 I remember this was early in the show and I believe she was pregnant at the time. They were in the kitchen and she begged him to stop.
also known as: 'The Top Ten Scenes In Boxsets You Always Fast Forward Through' XD
MRS. OLESON! YES! I noticed that you're using the "Harriett's Happenings" scenes-I loved when Albert changed the type to 100% off everything and everyone was taking all the merchandise off the shelves! Karma came-a-calling for Harriett for all her gossiping
Peggy Bundy? No way man. She's an awesome wife!!
Peggy Bundy was hilarious
Victoria from Revenge was pretty awful to her husband, well they were pretty awful to each other
Vera Bates was unfaithful, blackmails a noble family, literally gets her husband in jail once for a crime she did and THEN again for committing suicide and framing her husband for murder-
Lynette Schavo is an honorable mention? What? Those two had the only semi-healthy relationship on that entire show
In defense of Betty's one night stand, that's no different than what Don did continuously.
In no order. 1) Judith Two and a Half Men 2) Debra Everybody Loves Raymond 3) Carrie The King of Queens 4) Janet My Wife and Kids 5) Roseanne Roseanne
I thought you said modern relationships, Little House on the Prairie is hardly modern.
I thought bundy would be Numbers 1 - she certainly is the most iconic "bad wife"
Skyler is my favorite Breaking Bad character. I honestly dont understand why so many people hate her.
omg Susie Greene was *AMAZING.* SO funny.
Mary from Sherlock belongs here.
Everything about Susie Greene is perfect!
Last time I was this early. Watchmojo didnt have timestamps
Alright, I'm about to hit "play" 👍😉 Now, Peggy Bundy better be on the "top 3"! 👆
