Got very good tips like using shimla mirchi to get flavour. I usually cook the tomatoes in a pressure cooker to save time. Then use only the pulp of tomatoes without water. Afterwards, when all masalas are cooked, the tomato water can be added. It's very convenient to use ready to use gravy. I have been doing this for 30 years.
