These cards are gorgeous Kelly! I've done many things to add color to embossed backgrounds but using Perfect Pearls is a brilliant idea! I love that it's an inexpensive way to make a festive and relatively quick Christmas card. Thank you so much for sharing this idea!
Ranger tells us: "Perfect Pearls have a built-in binder which means you do not need to seal them after use. Simply, mist with water to activate the binding resin!" That's how they differ from mica powders.
Oh, these are so elegant and classy, Guess I should get out all those containers of Perfect Pearls that I bought. Thanks for a great video as just starting to work on my Christmas cards and lots of great ideas here.
Gorgeous cards. I love that used you black cardstock for xmas cards when you think about it the winter season is mostly in the dark!! (well it is in Canada lol)
Forgot to say that unfortunately I missed the Honey Bee Stamps BF sale, but I was busy availing myself to the Trinity Stamps BF sale that you linked us to in your previous video!
Ohhhh so pretty! I am all about the shimmer - and these satisfy like a nice big piece of pumpkin pie buried in whipped cream (3-4 hrs after the Thanksgiving meal lol). Thank YOU Kelly! I’m glad you and yours had a great Thanksgiving 💗
I just grabbed my first perfect pearl kit at my local craft store today. This video was uploaded just in time for me to learn how to use them. Thank you so much, Kelly 💕
Just came across my Perfect Pearls stash a couple days ago - so excited to have a new-to-me technique to try with it! These cards are gorgeous.❤ Happy Thanksgiving!
I have lots of those powders thank you for reminding me I have them , it used to me my go to. I'm off to find them. Your cards are fabulous happy Thanksgiving from NZ ❤
I just love that you keep it so real all the time! God bless you for sharing your talent with us! I’m watching videos on Saturday morning so unfortunately missed the Honey Bee sale but the snowy pines EF is definitely going on my wish list and I will hope for an after Christmas sale. I am getting more and more into all the things you can do with a brayer - wondering if there is a 4.5 or 5” wide one that would cover the whole card at once, and if that would help reduce the ink getting into the background area. Hmmmm 🤔
Thank you! My Speedball brayer is 4 inches. You probably would get any on the background going up and down but unfortunately you would also get very little transfer to the high points only going one direction.
For as old as these are and as long as I had perfect pearls I have never gotten the technique down. They don’t want to stick for me. I’ve tried using the pens and versamark 😢
Hello Kelly! My first time on your channel and I loved it, so I subscribed. Beautiful cards. May I ask what company offers the sentiment Believe in the Magic of Christmas? ❤️❤️
It is a My Sweet Petunia Precision Glue Press. Although most stores are sold out due to Black Friday sales. shrsl.com/46xma | shrsl.com/4au60 | shrsl.com/479v1
Honestly I don't know. Couldn't hurt to try though you may have to spray a fixative over them to hold them in place. I know perfect pearls affix with water.
Tracy is correct! It's a Precision Glue Press - shrsl.com/46xma | shrsl.com/4au60 | shrsl.com/479v1 They are sold out currently. I recommend getting put on notification from the store so you'll know when they come in.
I know I'm late to the game seeing this video, but I think the snowflake panel with the embossing ink was actually more colorful than the one with the white pigment ink.
Love ❤️ 💕 love 💗 love these cards! So pretty 🎉and great techniques. I have not heard of this Copic ink like this before? Is this new or old??how is it usually used etc We had a great Thanksgiving visiting family in Missouri Glad you got Peanut back early 👏 ty for your video as always ❤
These are gorgeous. I love when card creators sometimes use techniques using older products like Perfect Pearls. Thank you!
Thank you! I love mixing new and old together
Beautiful cards ! A great reminder to use those folders and PP! Thanks for another beautiful creation! 🙋♀️💕🌴

Hello Kelly! My first time on your channel and I loved it, so I subscribed. Beautiful cards. May I ask what company offers the sentiment Believe in the Magic of Christmas? ❤️❤️
Welcome to the crazy :) The sentiment stamp is from Honey Bee Stamps Let It Snow Stamp shrsl.com/4bllo
Gorgeous. Love these cards. Be careful with Copic white ink.....it will harden in container and dry out (my experience).
Thanks for the heads up!
What is that trigger thing your nuvo glue is in!!! I have arthritis…..I need that. Thanks. Love perfect pearls

Beautiful! I was wondering if you could use mica powder versus perfect pearls? Thanks!
Honestly I don't know. Couldn't hurt to try though you may have to spray a fixative over them to hold them in place. I know perfect pearls affix with water.
I wonder if it would work to ink up the embossing folder before running it through....
It would but it will put the ink on the debossed areas not the high points.
Love these cards. What is the glue gun?
That’s a my sweet petunia glue press, which has been out of stock forever
Tracy is correct! It's a Precision Glue Press - shrsl.com/46xma | shrsl.com/4au60 | shrsl.com/479v1 They are sold out currently. I recommend getting put on notification from the store so you'll know when they come in.
Thanks so much. I’m not sure how I’ve never seen this before.
Gorgeous, ihave ordered all the stamps and dies but am heartbroken because the embossing folder is outof stok
It's back in stock! shrsl.com/4a793
I know I'm late to the game seeing this video, but I think the snowflake panel with the embossing ink was actually more colorful than the one with the white pigment ink.
How do you clean the brayer?
I just wipe it with a rag or baby wipe. You can also wash it since it's plastic and rubber.
Hello Kelly
Hi Kim!
@@KellyTaylorCards love all the videos you have been putting out since this became your job!

It's been around a while. It's original intention was for artist to be able to add opaque white highlights.
I found mine rubbed off...endless I didn't wait long enough....
Did you mist with water after applying?
They will rub off if you don't set with water or another fixative.
Beautiful cards.
Beautiful cards!
