WOW WOW WOW is all I can say. I thorough enjoyed watching your video. You did an exceptional job in explaining all the steps in everything you created. Your step by step instructions were very easy to follow and understand. You moved right along, it was not boring at all. Some videos are so long and drawn out that you find yourself dozing off. Yours was just the opposite, you had y attention the whole time. Thank you for an extremely well done video. I am so glad I found you. AWESOME TEACHER WITH GREAT TECHNIQUES!!!!!!!
Excellent video, precise, focused, organized, and to the point. get right down to it. no idle chatter, chitchat, babbling, giggling, or talking about your personal life. What a breath of fresh air you are!😀 Other RUclipsrs could take a lesson from you on how to present a tutorial. Thank you. subscribed. ❤
LOL Thank you for your feedback! I'm not much into idle chit chat myself, especially when I just want to learn how they did it! I'm also just trying to create videos that help you learn the techniques and give you more time to create. If you enjoy the chit chat, there are so many great artists out there that already do that really well!
I just bought all the ready on these glazes for the whole set - thanks for showing all different techniques on how to use them …Love Tim Holtz products ..
Another darling video of crafting creations Juliana🩷 always so grateful for your your time and talents with inspiration you share with us!! Blessings to you always crafty friend!! 🥰
oh wow so much inspiration here! and love the fact you showed each finished tag at the end as it really helps to see what you add to each background, thanks
I keep my crayons in a zip-lock freezer (freezer is a little thicker) bag inside my TH container. I try to do that with anything I've opened/used and can possibly dry out. I've found the zip-lock bag helps keep things moist and less drying out. Of course, the self-stick paper over the top helps too and I also use it with pastes, etc., but still keep them in zip-lock bags when storing them.
Fabulous video! I just subscribed. I have distress crayons I never use and a few distress glazes. This video gives me lots of ideas and you give great suggestions. Your instructions are easy to understand and make me want to use the products. I saved the video.
I absolutely loved watching this video and your techniques Juliana! So inspiring to watch you and certainly get me in the experimental mood! Thank you so much!
Wow, Juliana, this is a fantastic video! I really appreciate the closeup pics & all your calm instructions!! I’m dog-sitting my daughter’s dog right now, but when I get back home, I’m going to try out all these techniques! I finally have a 48” wide craft table & all the TH multimedia stuff & most of the stamps & stencils, so I’ll be able to get a pretty close approximation to your tags! The “lives” are always lots of fun, but move too fast to get a good idea of how to do something & I’m thrilled that you did not just one tag, but 10! Incredible! Thank you soooo much! Erica❤ I look forward to more videos from you!❤
Hi! What heat tool are you using? I have the regular heating tool, I notice it takes a long time to heat. I know there’s one for regular heating and embossing. Thanks!
I'm using a Wagner Heat Gun (amzn.to/44P4rSZ) Mine is just an older version of this gun. The Heat It Tool is just as hot, but because the part where it blows out is larger it's slower to heat things. This makes it great for drying ink and things you don't want to get too hot, whereas the Wagner Heat Gun is more suited for heat embossing and working with embossing powders and embossing glazes. Hope that helps!
yes. they are totally different kinds of ink. Archival Ink is waterproof and permanent. Distress Ink is water reactive dye ink. Distress Oxides are also different as they are a hybrid ink and have properties of both dye and pigment inks. Hope that’s helps!

Did the name change to just Distress ink? I would like to buy the correct ink to try this technique.
I’d be happy to answer your question but I’m not exactly sure what you are referring to.
@@JulianaMichaels in the video you used distressed archival ink, not disdress ink so are those different?
I have distress oxide, but no distress ink, yet.
yes. they are totally different kinds of ink. Archival Ink is waterproof and permanent. Distress Ink is water reactive dye ink. Distress Oxides are also different as they are a hybrid ink and have properties of both dye and pigment inks. Hope that’s helps!
