You need to do cumbre del sol, it’s very close to calp and the vuelta finished on top of there one year and Froome and Tom D had a good fight up it

Was out there two weeks ago, stunning location, mid 20 degrees, perfect roads, cyclist heaven. Only 2.5 hours flight from the UK, hard to believe

Not rubbing it in, I live in Moraira. It's a fantastic place for the bike. Interestingly I have never been up the secret Coll de Rates road. I am sitting here, thinking have you been there, have you tried that😊. I think you stopped for food/ coke in Castell de Castells, if you had turned left at the no entry road( next to your restaurant), there is a smashing cafe stop/ restaurant there. There is two good bicycle restaurants, one in jalon and one just above the tee junction in Alcalalí. Good videos 😊
