Clearly the eaglet is twice the size of that hawk...i am surprised the hawk even thought of attacking it. Probably was thinking it's technically still a "baby". Anyway, this eaglet has very good genes, it survived this encounter and will most likely survive too as an adult and pass its genes to the next generation. Wonderful creatures.
Extraordinary!!! For your young age you have addressed with Courage and audacity to attack of the Hawk, showing impassiveness and security. With serious eyes like an adult Eagle;aware of your superiority you pulled out the your nature aquiline. Congratulations little Eagle!!! 💖🦅💕👍👏💋
Wow this eagle is serious, no games. Probably killed smaller siblings and at the age to tear into food. A little older Probably would have truly scared the crap out of the hawk. I can't wait to see one of these where the parents return and it gets really good
Omgosh.. This little juvie launched a full on 360° defensive attack on this nasty goshawk.. And the victory was his to have! Congrats little one.. We champion your skills 🎉😘Hope you fledged and are leading a free and joyful life in the wild😊🌹❤️
Give this eaglet 3 more weeks and it’d make a meal out of that goshawk. Obviously it hasn’t fledged at this point. But it’s indeed a great fighter, even at this tender age. It’s about 8 years old now with perhaps a long list of eaten goshawks, possibly including this one that attacked it in its infancy.
@@Astronurd dude we're talking about eagles here. Eagles eat other animals with superlative ease. If you are nimble in flight, good. But it's game over when they manage to lock their talons on that prey.
Ya never know, mom and dad could've watching from a distance and didn't come to help cause they wanted he or she to learn how to defend themselves. That's one VERY important skill they need to master in order to survive besides learning to hunt and fish. The young one did a very good job.
It's not a bully really , those are easy to RID OFF , this one wants to kill amd eat it very different , eagle is fighting for its life, he did EXELLENT to save himself
Goshawks are relentless killers with great intelligence. Although the eaglet is larger it has no experience dealing with this. If the Goshawk can get the eaglet off the nest it will continue attacking on the ground until it flips the eaglet on its back. Then it will land on its chest and decapitate the juvenile.
@@marco1964star A Juvenile Eagle is no match for an experienced Goshawk. If it had knocked this poor Juvie down it would've been game over. And the Goshawk and its chicks would've had a good long dinner.

@@vanda6121 Hi Vanda! I regret to tell you that I fear not. The reason why they stopped broadcasting from this nest must have been the tragic ending of the eaglet. Bald eagles are only in North America (and northern Mexico?), White-tailed eagles are in Europe, Asia and maybe rarely in NA. Lesser Spotted eagles - which this juvenile is, are in Europe, but to a lesser degree, and in the Middle East.
Brave eaglet! The parents must have been far not to hear the commotion! Had the hawk managed to push the eaglet off the nest, that would have been the end! I wonder how the story continued!
finally i get to see a goshawk being chased away by a chick. usually it does not end well for the chicks. thankfully the nest is built in such a way the goshawk could only attack from 2 sides. and the branches also provide cover from the eaglet falling off from at least 2 sides.
Because the juvenile bald eagle beak is all brown until they reach maturity around 5yrs old when they get their all white head. Also that is not a bald eagle call, its a golden eagle call.
Brave eaglet! ♥️ just wonder where mom and dad eagle are with all this baby eaglets calling! It’s crop looks full so where are they. More baby birds are lost to predators because parents are off running around. 🥲 Hopefully that hawk backed off permanently and gave up! 🙏

it maybe tried to knock the eaglet out of the nest so the fall would injure it

You are dreaming. Goshawks don’t get messed with
Probably why the try to get rid of. Them while young , and finish the threat early.

@@fidelaromo6705, yes, animals do that. They try to wipe out the threat before it gets intimidatingly huge and out of their control.

Goshawks are ferocious, it keeps circling the eaglet looking to get behind it. It probably killed the eagles siblings.
If it's an adult eagle that's close to flying, it's very difficult. The falcon can't fight. It's bigger than the falcon.
They do it the coward way. Throw chick's out of nest so they get injured on the way down. Instead of facing them straight forward , when adults
Very brave didn't fall for the usual practice ,,knock out of nest.
