None of these worked for me. I was able to fix it by going to System > Sound > Volume Mixer, scrolling to the bottom, and clicking the reset button. Chrome showed up and audio worked after that.

Try going to System>Sound>Volume Mixer where it says "Apps" click reset . See if that helps

i found out the reason was that maxxaudio that comes with my xps in not compatible with my updated windows 11 so it desided to disable my audio fat L dell 👎👎👎 i just uninstalled it
