Here's a cheesy Caryl video, but heey - it's a cheesy relationship. Daryl will kill a man if Carol catches a fever or gets hit my lightning lmao it's canon
I've been working on this video for awhile, and getting to finish it with new caryl scenes couldn't have made me happier.
I'm gonna be honest here; one of the few reasons I still watch this poorly written show is because of Melissa McBride, and I love her performances together with Norman Reedus in particular. They just bring out the best of each other. MAGIC. I just wish they could have more scenes together...

No one would have ever guessed that Carol would of made it this far. She has had one of the best character transformations I've ever seen in any series.

If someone can be insecure in this relationship it is Daryl. Daryl is not Norman Reedus. Daryl had no job, no education, no manner to eat, he spent his life hunting and doing small robbery with Merle. When people say that Daryl deserves this or that person, they forget that Daryl was not the right man for many women. Nobody cared about him except Carol. Carol saw the best in him from the beginning, spoke to him, looked at him like a person, and so he remains loyal to that love.
I totally agree. She totally saw in him what no one else did. He saw in her a part of himself. They truly are soulmates.
This is amazing!! The way that their relationship has evolved from two people who seemed so opposite to what they have now, which is one of the tightest bonds on the show, has just felt so natural. And I think a lot of the credit for that has to be given to Melissa and Norman. The way that they can only truly be themselves and be vulnerable with each other is so beautiful. I could go on and on, but really, this is the best Caryl video I've seen!!

Alisa~ I totally agree with you Alias. Carolyn and Daryl act as a counterweight to each other. She helped him find his compassion which he thought he never had. He helps her cling to her soul and sanity from everything she lost. I love these two characters for this reason.

Beautiful video and it reminds me of why I fell in love with these two in the first place. Carol and Daryl saw the strength in each other before anyone else did. They have always supported each other and understood each other on a level that no one else could.
Their relationship isn't cheesy! And neither is your vid. Their relationship goes way beyond the superficial, the romantic ... it's the largest part of what's made them both great characters. Season 7 finale tonight ... (sniffle). Needed this today :)
I still think this is the best Caryl video around. I watched it like 10 times in a row and it gets me everytime, it's simply brilliant. I REALLY hope they go canon in S8, they both deserve it so much.

This is amazing, you perfectly link up scenes to show depth to everything they say to eachother in so few words.
Could you please do a video showing just Carol, why Daryl didn't tell her about the group and why she left "because all the times she's been burnt away and parts of herself have been lost". People inpatients for her character is infuriating she's lost so much she deserves some time.

Anya O Yes, I meet Melissa and took a picture with her. She was very gracious and sweet. She is a lot smaller in person and there is something about her eyes, when she laughs (I know it sounds corny) they sparkled. Melissa has the kind of face the camera loves and she speaks with a light soothing tone.

No, I purchased a photo session with her. It was a little pricey but worth it. First I stood in the general admission line to get her autograph which took about an hour. I got lucky because I was the 3rd person in line so I had an unobstructed view of her the entire time. Of course I was freaking out, she was less than 5 ft away from me. The photo session line was massive but it went extremely fast. You only have enough time for a little chat before it is the next person's turn. Usually I'm a very talkative person but not this time, I was so geeked up I suffered a mind freeze, I forgot every question I wanted to ask. Therefore if you are ever in the same situation go prepared and write your questions down and hand her the note, she will respond to you.
