Floods in Brasil, França, Alemanha, Bélgica, Quênia, Afeganistão, Itália, etc.
We are in the same boat...
This is so weird. Here in the Philippines where it should always be raining, it's so hot and hardly ever rained. April heatwave is something we have never had before. Temperature daily is 35C which isn't normal to us.
In India it is summer season but rains are falling like rainy season
Thank you for the info
😢 the world, our house is suffering
🇧🇷 stop climate manipulation, chemical trails, destruction of forests, pollution and CO² emissions, reforest and clean up the environment 🇧🇷
based
In the meantime, they should invest in a better water drainage system.
Ja foi esse tempo......
Homes and businesses mentioned every time. But what about food growing areas? No wonder we're in a food crisis!
WOW. your are dumber then a rock.
Interesting that you say that, because I actually went for a walk today here in southwest Germany and saw all the flooded strawberry fields thinking, man that's alot of damage 😢
The EU has trade with the whole world, so how are we in a food crisis?
No problem they fixed since last year. Shown the middle finger to all farmers.
That's exactly why they do this.. they even set a limit, farmer's can only grow crops untill 1st of October
Aqueduct pipelines should have been built decades ago, send the water to Spain and Portugal.
Strange. Here in Sweden we have had highpressure with warm temperatures the last 7 days. And it looks to continue next week.
That's what we had before here in Germany too. But knowing this kinda frustrates me, when I visited Stockholm for the first time at the end of April, it was snowing ❄️😂had a great time tho.
Same in UK
40cm is nothing compared to Brazil’s over 5 METERS. An entire state (Rio Grande do Sul) has been completely wiped off the map.
the geographies are different. 40cm in non-tropical lattitudes is absolutely ridiculous.
@@SebinMatthew excuse you, he said FIVE METERS
@@SebinMatthewbro, with all due respect, you don’t understand geography🤭
True but for the locals in the regions, this is the second flooding in 3 years which is not normal for these area.
Moezel could rise 4m so almost the same
well .. the extra water from all the melting glaciers and polar caps has to go somewhere . it can't just stay in the sky indefinitely- > RAIN! .it's all headed for the ocean anyway , the the rising sea level is coming for YOU!
Dude it rains more because a warmer atmosphere holds more water vapor (about 7% more per degree of warming). Thats due to the "Clausius Clapeyron" equation. Plus warmer temperatures lead to more water evaporation.
And you, unless you live in the mountains, I guess?
The heavier rain is mostly condensed water in a warmer climate. Yes, melted ice increases the amount of water to condense and then rain down, but on a global scale im sceptic if this part of global warming plays a part here.
Please don't blame rising sea levels for everything and educate yourself, otherwise you'd look like (with great respect) an ignorant . The cause of the floods was due to what's known as a "Low-Pressure Sandwich" (otherwise known as a Storm Sandwich, an area of low pressure sandwiched by high pressure on 2 sides)
Basically, an area of a large wind system that rotates about a centre of high atmospheric pressure (otherwise known as an anti-cyclone) acts as a wall and prevents wind, clouds and any type of precipitation from passing. Low pressure magnifies and enhances cloud formation (eventually turning to thunderstorms during the spring and summer). So when an area of Low-Pressure is sandwiched between two anti-cyclones, all the rain that could've formed would be concentrated on the Low-Pressure system. In this case, the Low-Pressure system over Western Europe was sandwiched between two anti-cyclones, one above the Atlantic Ocean around Lat.: 48°13'N / Lon.: 23°33'W, and the second one was above eastern Europe. So all the rain that formed couldn't hvae move as anti-cyclones prevented these storms from moving anywhere else which concentrated all the rain on a single spot. Now whats scary is that the CAPE index (The amount of energy present in the atmosphere that can be used for convection) was only between 100-800J/kg when these storms happened. During the summer much more energy (1000+J/Kg) can be present which means if the same Storm sandwich happens to occur during the summer in temperate regions, you'd become thankful and see how damaging they could get.
Is it flooding in Edegem, Belgium? I have a dear friend who lives there and she is 80 years old.
Thank you!
If only they had voted for the Greens in Germany. They know better how to manage the land and environment.
How can they do that when people are attacking them? Have you not seen German farmers trying to lynch Green politicians?
Sarcasm or jokes are not appropriate in this situation.
Ah yes. Nothing says climate protection like shutting off all your nuclear power plants and instead relying on brown coal for your energy production. Smart move.
It's hard to change decades of Conservative blocking of renewables in a few months. Even now coalition partners put the break on.

Me, on the northern parts of The Netherlands 😂
The entire world has terrible floods what is going on????????
This is nothing new. Climate has always fluctuated. There are documented floods going back to 1200's, with insane amounts of casualties back then. Many of them returning on a yearly basis.

Ooooh! A visit from Chancellor Scholz - now THAT should solve all their problems.
If he hadn't come people would complain, too.
😢
UK hot and sunny 🌞
Well that's a new one 😂
@@mrcool7140not really, often dry and sunny
Start raining tonight..
1:16 The man says that it is "our fault". That's called a propagandized mind. There's been a war on farming. Notice any rise in food costs? Geoengineering (chemtrails) is certainly a consideration. One Nobel Laureate said that in a room 20m x 20m x 10m high lighting a single match would equal anthropogenic (human activity) climate change.
Since when France Belgium Germany and the Netherlands have been in Northern Europe??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So sorry for everyone affected, but please don’t call these regions Central Europe, it’s really on the western end almost
Depends on where you are.
Enviromental Change - sure the entire world needs to look at that. In the meantime every municipality and province *needs* to look at drainage and water flow. Population numbers have increased expotentially yet the villages, towns, cities are still mostly using drains (and sewage!!) systems that are 50yrs out of date and not able to handle the local population. Same thing applies to dam and river embankments, overflow and diversion flow - these all desperately need to updated. Vote GREEN if you want to but unless an actual *hands on practical plan* is immediately implemented ~ disasters will continue no matter *who* is in charge/power/government!!

Restore wetlands
Continue to drive your SUVs, cars, scooters; instead of subsidising sustainable green farming, give farmers bribes; make laws than to stay in power take them all back... I wonder when people will understand the old way of living is over.
And many farmers, together with right wing nutjobs are still protesting for all green policies to stop. Green politicians have become targets in germany.
@@edbouhl3100Where are you at in the USA, if I may ask?
Flooding all over the World… end of the World getting closer 😮
Yes, all the time for the last 14 billion years.😂😂.
Let's face it. The world will continue, even when we die out.
Even if it is the end for you doesn't mean it's the end of everything 😅
A further deterioration in the situation in Europe could result in a significant exodus of European talents, intellectual families and even assassination criminals to countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Canada, America and China. This would have a detrimental impact on the European economy, as it would be more difficult to attract and retain the necessary human capital.
Where would they go? the situation is just as bad if not worse in pretty much every other country.
