Actually, they did talk to the artists. I watched a video about it, by both of the creators talking about their designs being taken by funko. But they were okay with it, and we're fine with everything that Funko had done with the money. They just want the model to be successful. Which is sad they're giving Funko money for popularity. Scott is paying them to work on their game even more, unlike Nintendo which just beats the fan games to smithereens. Mad respect Scott

I feel like I recognize the Foxy plush design more exactly from something else. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the second I saw it, I had an undeniable feeling I had seen the exact design and pose before. Bus, since this video is a few years old, it's possible that I've just seen these figures before.
Funniest part is the stolen designs being arguably better than the original ones, I wish the creators had the means to make their own models- or even plushes with those designs! I'd buy them in a heartbeat!

Okay, I think I know why Funko used that design for Fredbear. If you google Fredbear plush, you're going to see that design way more than the canon design and maybe they were just trying to appeal to the fanbase or just got confused. The fact that that design is popular only adds onto how Funko could've gotten confused when they were designing the figure. Idk about Foxy though, saying those two designs are the same is kind of a stretch for me anyways. Hold on, I just realized that they could've based the design off of the pixel version of the Fredbear Plush, which in that case is kind of similar but it's hard to say since one is y'know, pixellated.
I feel like its a stretch to say both are stolen models because accidents do happen when two different people have the same idea at a different time or at the same time.

It's a technique used to make eyes look as if they are following you! It's pretty cool, It's often used in fursuits too. It's done by making a hollow eye then just putting something quite further in the hole (eye). ^^

Do you ever plan on reviewing Youtooz figures? FNAF ones, at least. They probably produce some of the most high quality FNAF merch to date! Though the prices are pretty high and the shipping is... unreliable to say the least, the figures themselves are really decent. And don't even get me started on the adorable plushies! I'd really like to see your takes on them.
