Staying at Roosevelt Hotel

I’m staying at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood Boulevard that was built in 1926 and opened in 1927. It has been home to notable guests like Charlie Chaplin, H.G. Wells, Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Marilyn Monroe, Montgomery Cliff, Shirley Temple, Prince, etc. In popular culture, the hotel hosted the first Academy Awards in 1929 inside the Blossom Ballroom hosted by Academy president and actor Douglas Fairbanks. The awards were held three months after the winners were announced.

Great video. I love the Roosevelt Hotel. It's a gorgeous hotel with a lot of history. Plus, it is within walking distance to so many Hollywood sites and attractions. What an experience this place is.
