- WestJet recently began installing new business-class-like seats in their 737s, and our aircraft was one of the first to receive the seats. I had an amazing onboard experience; comfortable seat, great food, friendly crew, and amazing window views!

Some friends last year did a round the world trip and ended up in Canada to visit relatives and flew West Jet to SFO to catch a Qantas flight back to Australia and they were very impressed !! Who needs IFE and the Internet with the views out the window !! I have never been to Canada and it is probably No 1 on my list when things get back to normal...god knows when though !! Thanks again mate...great flight and all looked pretty good ( not sure about some of the music though !!}....looking forward to anything you post Q...and well done !!

Hey Quentin .. if you like the north I recommend flying to prince rupert, British Columbia from Vancouver. Prince rupert airport is quite unique. It's on an island, and you take a bus and ferry to get to the town of prince rupert. The flight is 2 hours on a dash 8 with air Canada.

i know some athletes that go to my university that play hockey and are from canada vancouver, saskatoon, small town in alberta and the first game of each season usually starts out with an exhibition hockey game vs a canadian college team usually manitoba since its the closest to omaha and you hear the canadian anthem and us anthem and even though its an exhibition game usually treated as if it was a real game with noisemakers and chants etc. the goalies switch after a certain period due to playing experience and if the game goes into overtime the rules are nchc even though it doesnt count but experience for the players if the game still tied after 5 minutes 5 on 5 overtime its a tie but play on for the additional point with a 5 minute 3 on 3 overtime still tied sudden death shootout each team gets one shot if both scored or neither team scored continue until one scores the other doesnt
From what I've read,none of us Americans can make this journey anytime soon--my understanding is that the Canadian border is closed to US citizens if its for nonessential business.Posting from SE Texas in July,the snow in Winnipeg looks wonderful--being that you're from the NYC area,Canadian weather is ho-hum for you--it must've been a struggle to wake up so early to be at the Winnipeg airport just after 4am. Westjet does fly from IAH to Calgary--my bucket list includes visiting Vancouver--a non-aviation idea--try the Rocky Mountaineer tourist train Vancouver-Banff

Does WestJet still have the planes with the Disney liveries on them?
Yes, usually on their B737's, but WestJet should have the Disney liveries on jumbo jets including the B787-9 dreamliner in case of social distancing during flights to/from Calgary-Orlando, Calgary-Los Angeles, Edmonton-Orlando, Edmonton-Los Angeles, Vancouver-Orlando, and Vancouver-Los Angeles.
So this is the report you’ve talked about on live lmao

Hey does anyone know what’s going on with the Boeing 737 MAX 8?
Niklas Enblom, the B737 MAX jets are grounded due to crashes in Ethiopia and Indonesia since October 2018. They were supposed to be back in the sky by June, but the date is pushed to August or someday in early fall because of the coronavirus.

I would no ife is bad thing as in my experience airplane wifi is hit and miss so far so unitlbits more reliable I prefer an ife system

Sami Braitaa, he had the aisle-side seat blocked off due to social distancing. The window seat and aisle-side seats need to be blocked off between the middle seat in case of nap time mid-flight, but you can do 50-100 sit ups also mid-flight during 2+ flights.
