Yes, it's easy to replace cracked arms, but it's the great quality print on those Torso's, that made those old minifigs a good find. (Also loving the happy "whistle while you work" in the background!)
Thanks Jez. Yes, I did have to sort through them but the print quality on both figs are very good. Unfortunately my Darth Vader heavy breathing and whistling (which I don't know I'm doing sometimes) were little off putting, especially if listening through headphones
@@iainsbricks didn't bother me, just shows what a happy fellow you are!!! I was always getting a wind blowing noise on my videos when I did time lapse speed builds, and couldn't work out what it was, until I realised it was me doing soft whistling to my self too!!!! But sped up, it sounded like the wind outside!
thanks for the shout out... and remember id be happy to show you the ways of the carboot sale 6.30 start and bring u running shoes . its a battle ground out there ;p
@@snooplovesbricks Thanks. It was your videos that inspired me to go out and check out a car boot sale, so thanks for that. I was there at 7am, so not too shabby for a first attempt
@@iainsbricksglad u like mine.... 7am is very good . i hope u had fun and enjoyed the hunt its something different to do as you not been to a carboot in yers

Great video of what goes on at these car boot fairs. I suspect car boot sellers know the price of Lego and subsequently put high prices on. Re your haul, i couldn't be bothered spending hours at car boot for so little gain, but it's good to try the experience.
@@iainsbricks its not easy to record...needed a strong wind...amazing what people have for sale..to me tho as an investor most if not all is of no use.enjoyed the vlog tho

Great Video Ian. Love the older mini figs. Good ways to spend a morning. Cheers

@@Bobsie_ thank- yes, I think I might just have to go there to have a look around.
I love those care boot sales. Always in for a surprise. Even if you walk by 5 times you still find new stuff. 😆
Yes, I did go round to make make sure I hadnmissed anything
Amazing video! Car boot sales are the best way too get lego cheap.
Yes, there are definitely some bargains out there, but you have to be prepared to search for them.

Edit: Sorry I have really good headphones on 😂😉
@@interesting2491 My apologies. I've had a cold recently and didn't realise I was still heavy breathing as much as I was.
@@iainsbricks No need to apologise Sir!
Mr Peroni sounds pissed up still😂
Ninjago city gardens £170 at my local smyths so I picked up the last one. I thought that was a cracking price.
Would be great to see some of your collection/ builds where you are adding these pieces!
At the moment, I don't really have a space to display the sets I build. I need to reorganise my cabinet display so I can show more sets.

Thanks. Yes, it was a lot of effort for very little gain. Still, only 50p to get in and I did at least manage to get a few things.
Love the new style of video Iain, snatched it from your mate Snoop? Looking forward to the next one
Thanks Johnny - yes, I'm stealing video ideas now!
@@jonnyhawkins7744 I’m waiting for Snoops video when he got there at 6:00 and bought all the bargains. Cloud city set for £50 etc.
@@markdixon662 lol! Snoop has his own patch!
The stickers on the speed champion set looked like they been put on well. You should have asked for some tips. 😊😊
Lol! Probably placed by someone with better eyesight than me!
Their eyesight couldn’t have been that good it’s got two types of wheel covers on 😂😂
I got a couple of speed champions, including a retired one for a tenner. Plus theres a guy at my local who has a stall of just lego every week
Sounds like a good car boot. I may try a different one next time.
To identify minifigures i use a phone app called BrickScan, it help with telling you what and how many sets the figure appeared in.
Thanks. I will take a look at that app.
Doesn't that Brickscan, formerly Brick monkey, app cost money? Circa subs £45 per annum? I don't think it's free!!!!
The last time I was at a Car Booth Sale was 5. I'm now 28. Would love to go to one again.
You should go. There must be one nearby to where you live.
I can beat you with that, the last time I went to a boot sale was when I sold some of my old toys when I was 15, I’m 50 now.
@@BarryFrancis Goodness!
There’s lots of loses lego about at the moment.. the first lego figure 6380 emergency treatment center
Yes, there does seem to be a lot.
The Ferrari has mismatched wheels
Well spotted! I hadn't noticed. It's OK though as I have plenty of spare wheel covers
Nice
Thanks for watching
Iain..you sounded like an unsexy darth vader my wife said.😅
Lol! Thanks, I think! All I could hear when editing the video was my heavy breathing and my occasional soft whistling.

Lol, selling Lego Star Wars magazines WITHOUT the minifigures attached!!!!!!!!!
I know. Nice try!
Was ok to watch but breathing noise was horrible to listen to with head phones
Yes, I do apologise about that. I've had a bit of a cold so didn't realise I was heavy breathing that much
