Same can be said about resellers too tho mate. For example a seller wants 20 quid for some asics trainers I've seen resellers throw hissy fits because they want everything for 2 and 3 quids to then flip for 40 or 50 quid! Surely the seller is entitled to some of that also! It's not a divine right to be entitled to all the profit man
@@nixxy111 exactly, i watch a few of these videos and starting to recognise the resellers who come to our carboot, as soon as i see one coming to my stall up the prices go 👍, if there gonna take advantage of me ill do the same to them.
Couldn’t agree more can’t believe the greed of these resellers, never satisfied always want a few more quid off already cheap stuff and then get all butt hurt when people won’t basically give the stuff away for them to make a living off.
Great channel. I flipped at car boots for many years and loved every minute. Always tricky at the end of the season. I think those genuine family sellers do a larger one towards the start of the season/ BH weekend and by the end people doing 'another' car boot haven't got much good left and there's a few resellers with tat sadly. That plus the rain putting people off as the Summer ends. The SMEG kettle made me laugh! Always amazed that people think something with full seller protection on eBay, with nice pictures and national/ international postage and an audience of millions, with huge fees for the seller is worth the same/ more at a car boot. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Yeah there’s always people trying to aim for eBay prices, maybe she recognised me so upped her price 😂 There’s still plenty of potential with the sellers at the boot sales around this time, just not quite the same as the fresh sellers at the start of the season 🙌🏼
Hello from a new subscriber from New Zealand. Loving seeing what you can buy from car boot sales in England. There really isn’t anything like them here. Just catching up on some of your old videos and have to say how sad you did it but the Jammy Dodger biscuit tin! 😅
Only found your channel recently but I like your videos that I've seen so far. Very informative for people like me who'd also into carboots. I'm on the hunt for Lego, DVDS, and any Star Wars related stuff. You did good on passing on that Lego bundle as it definitely didn't look real and that stuff doesn't hold its price.
Yeah unless it was a fiver, I might have considered it. But the real Lego sets were probably incomplete and the rest was fake 😂 Appreciate you watching! ☺️
Happy Belated birthday to CeCe. It makes yo realise how much time has passed as Cece was only a baby when you started the channel. Thanks for the video, a few interesting buys but it's the reality of end of season at the Boots isn't it. Thank goodness for Vinted eh???😀
Thanks Sarah! 2 years old going on 18 😂 Yeah they’re really slowing down, I think the majority have cleared their unwanted goods for the year 😂 gotta wait for the next batch of quality sellers next year. Exactly that, Vinted should keep the business going throughout winter 👌🏼
Hi - think I’m addicted to watching your vids!! 😂 Do you have any videos on how you go about cleaning the shoes that you resell? Different methods and tips for different shoe types/materials? That would be useful, maybe do a series of shorts? One for each shoe type/material? Thanks
Thanks for watching! Tbh I haven’t yet, been asked a few times but it’s just far down on the to do list for me. Maybe one day you’ll all see a cleaning video 👍🏼
I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one to struggle over the bank holiday weekend 😂 I’m having the same problem as you mentioned at the start with there not being as much stuff to pick up. Also there was a where’s wally messenger bag when you got this Oxford bags. I really wanted it 😂
Buy on Vinted and sell on eBay. eBay is overall the best platform to sell on and create a proper business. Best customer service, biggest audience. Vinted has no seller fees, but also don’t allow you to run a business through it, yet, although people still do. 👍🏼
Loving the channel im 44 and sick of my job and been looking to branch out on my own was just wondering is there an app out there that tells u where all the carboot sales are
when that seller replied "what would you be willing to pay?" - I would have said no worries, thanks and walked off at this point! the worst type of seller, complete nonsense reply and you immediately know they're going to be a waste of time.
Every now and then, don’t get many round here. We get more jumble trails, which I usually get a few nice bits at. Vinted should do me well throughout winter though, so not too worried 👌🏼
Where is this car boot you’re visiting?…just realised this is Bordon boot fair. I camp outside 5am every Sunday and stand by the trade entrance waiting for people to arrive
Ey up james i’ve got a question. I’ve just started binge watching all your videos and its spurred me on to try it myself. I have come across a pair of all blue adidas trainers brand new. The problem is i can not find a pair anywhere to compare. They are called Adidas Double play. Im just wondering if you have ever come across them.
Sorry bit late! Never heard of them, try using google lens in the future to help figure out if worth it on the shoes or not. That’s always my go to when I’m unsure.
@@JammyDodgerFlips thank you for the reply. Yeah i did end up using that! Around £35-40. Got a good few watchers hoping they’ll go within the week. Thanks again.
Not your mistake with change but what seller go car boot sale without change . Most people know they going to car boot sale so it is so frustrating when do it because they either saving they change or they didn’t prepare properly.
I guess they hope to make a bit of change on the smaller items at first. I just caught him off guard being the first at his stall 😅 Still secured the goods so happy days, was just rushing round like a mad man trying to get that fiver 😂
yeah you really should of baught those motorbike boots, they where pristine ! you'd of got a ton at least for them alllll dayyyyyyy ps, NEVER buy motorbike helmets :)
Haha yeah I wasn’t in the mood to part with £25 for them at this time of morning. Part of me thought there was something wrong with them too… but who knows
I still dont understand why people buy and wear 2nd hand footwear its disgusting
I know, mad right! Pays my mortgage though, so will continue to buy smelly shoes
wash them?
Hate it when sellers have no idea on a price, but when you make an offer they recoil in disgust, and don't counter.
Exactly why I included this clip! I can’t do both jobs at the boot sale 😅

The smeg was a broken or refund item. Had 24 written on the bottom which retailers do. Bm stores is code 44 for broken stuff
Handy to know, cheers Jon

Was that a pair of New Rocks on the same stall as the Docs and bike boots?
Not new rocks, there was a tall pair of John Deere boots which had a New Rock look to them 👀
