If you are in a route or place where there are NPCs turning or moving, even if they are outside your screen/view, they will count as advances and you will have a lot of trouble navigating through chatot cries, you can even miss your target advance if it is very early while you are checking the seed via coin flip. What you can do is make sure your eon timer delay is calibrated and you are consistently hitting the seed you want, then as soon as you enter the save file press X and go to the menu, this way any advancement made by NPCs will be stopped and you will be able to check if you are on seed using only chatot cries. I recommend going for mid range target advances using this method like 20 to 50 advances, if your target advance is 0 in a route with too many moving NPCs then you probably will never be able to hit it. If chatot cries still don't match, then you can exit party and menu and check the seed you hit using coin flip normally, recalibrate eon timer and do it again, eventually you will get it and find the pokemon you want.

You mentioned in the video you'd show how to RNG with pokeradar in another video but I can't seem to find it?
Best place to find the ability number is to just use the built in IV checker. Just scroll to the Pokemon you want and it will list the abilities on the right as a 0 or 1.
For anyone else having trouble - I was getting the correct delay but the Chatot cries didn't match and the encountered pokemon was wrong. So I knocked out the roamer Mespirit and it worked next try.

so with the coin flips lets say i get T,T,T,T,H,H for example when i select ok i notice the flips dont match up with the highlighted seed which could be H,T,T,H,T,T or something for example but why?

6 years late but just so you know that happens because you don't get the time right. The delay might be correct but the time might be 1 second above or below, in the case of blisy it would 05:57:22 instead of 05:57:23.

I'm on pokefinder and my seconds keep jumping everywhere. I switch over to hgss to see if it's me messing up timing and i hit eberytjing first or second try on hgss.

Yes, you have to go on eon timer and click on the gear on bottom left and set which device you are using
Does this work the same way for swarms? Cause I'm trying to get a shiny Larvitar, and I'm hitting the seed correctly from checking the flips, but the Chatots aren't pitched right, and I don't know what's wrong with that.
I get so close but keep losing it at the chatots because I can't get a good chatter recording
I wish there was some phone app for this. Everything you've explained is easy to understand and looks easy to execute, but I don't have the program that would let me do that stuff or a computer to run it on.

Roaming Pokemon can advance your frames? That would be because you had a GBA Pokemon game in Slot 2, right?
Jcool no, roaming Pokémon just make your starting frame higher by existing. When you take them out it goes down. The gba game switches what delay you can hit, even or odd

how come my chatots dont make a sound when i record? When i blow into the mic heavily enough they sound the same. Is there any way to fix this so i can tell the pitches apart?

i tried on my ds and 3ds. But for some reason it wont pick up regular sound, only when i blow very heavily into the mic. Did yours just work first try?

Hey Jake, here once again. I tried to pull this off with a DSi + Pearl, and even though I hit my seed twice the Chatot pitches do not align. The TID/SID were chosen in order to exploit the cute charm glitch, therefore I set the cute charm male lead in ofc both the search and the generator (using Pokefinder, RNG reporter does the same though).
Any clue? Have you tried RNG on wild pokemon with a cute charm lead?

@@imablisy I know about it, I chose wayward cave (secret part) as a starting point because I know that there are no moving NPCs there. At least according to Smogon www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dp_npc_guide.
@@imablisy good news: even though the pitches were not aligned with PokeFinder, after a couple of trial and error I found out that after the seed verification I just needed to count the frames and I would get what I wanted. Very odd that the pitches are messed up, but I got my shiny Naive Gible with almost 6 perfect IVs :)
I was able to hit the right seed several times and i do switch between my two chatots with recorded chatter but the frames wont advance. I always hit frame one within the right seed. How is this possible?
By the way im in the wayward cave (secret room) there arent any npcs

I've got a huge issue I'm not sure how to fix w/ my delays. I'm consistently getting either odd or even delays based on my coin flips, and I've made certain to enter the correct combos of flips in the finder. Sometimes a delay won't even exist for my flip combos. It's really confusing, but I like the thought of RNG manip too much to just give up on it. Any help please?
