I always thought it was more a take on Bob Hoskin's voice from the live action movie. Captain Lou's Mario was a little more higher pitched and friendlier (albeit not to Martinet's extend). Hoskin's really is the one who used the gruff Brooklyn voice.
This is AMAZING! All the references, the soundtrack, the coreo, and much more (my personal favorite easter egg being the Isabelle and Doom Guy pairing). Thx Scotty! Kirk would love this!

To celebrate the release of the Mario Movie I meant to upload this super clean edited version of The Final Cut on the 5th of April (struggling with copyrights got it the way but it's up now). It's a "soft release", meaning it will always be unlisted but publicly available for all to see by me sharing the link. There were edits I had to make that were bothering me and life just got in the way of getting to them. In the NCU I’ve created and hoping to unleash if the upcoming Super Mario bros movie fails, I’ve considered having Lord Bowser (In his Giga Bowser form) causing chaos in New York with one of five power sources (My answer to the Infinity stones and the Mother boxes) for the first Super Smash Bros movie. A great video once again and here’s hoping we see Super Smash Bros: Ultimate in the form of Justice league (The Snyder cut) next.
Damn if only they had the budget to get Chris Pratt to voice act everyone this was incredible tho I can imagine it took a lot of time and work so great job
I don’t care if Marvel, Disney, and/or Alan Silvestri sue. The Avengers theme HAS to be the theme for the Super Smash Bros movies of the Smash/Nintendo Cinematic Universe!
