Love the book reviews random suggestion-at the end you can always announce what you’re reading next create a book club of sorts. I’m getting that Mars Attacks book because of your channel

Hey thanks so much! I'm glad to hear from anyone that finds my literature choices remotely interesting haha. I am definitely not interested in the typical mainstream stuff these days as most of my career I've discovered that my interests, designs and ideas are never in sync with pop culture trends. So, if it's on my channel it's because I have a genuine love and appreciation for the material, and if I can introduce just one other person such as yourself to something off the beaten path, then that's fantastic. Thanks for watching!

    Completely rad as usual Ellis!
So I remember exactly the conversation why I lent you the book. We would usually talk horror movies and super hero comics at work, but one day you asked me "Do you read anything that's not superheroes?" and I knew exactly what to share with you after that, it was 'The Hunter' the first book in the series.
Love the wrist watch BTW ; ) when I met Darwin Cooke at Long Beach Comic Con for a signing he was rocking' the same one, so cool.

That’s it! Haha that’s totally it, I am not a fan of superhero books. Guilty. 😎 However, I will say with exception, that I immensely enjoyed Darwyn’s New Frontier.
Thanks man! It’s a Hamilton Ventura watch. Made famous thanks to Elvis in the early 60s.
Actually, if you go look at The Hunter again, you’ll see that Cooke also has that watch in the first couple pages where Parker is writing bad checks at jewelry stores and then pawning off the watches and jewelry for cash.
It’s totally my vibe, mid century design, 100% why this book series is top tier for me.
