God damn this song never gets old. It transports me to a wind swept Montana valley about 10000 years ago. “I plan to be forgotten when I’m gone”.

This is probably my favorite song by him and one of my all time favorites. It's so calm. It makes me think about farms and quiet rivers and nature. I also really like the tuning in this recording. It sounds a bit happier

"What you feel in the presence of a thing you admire is just one word--'Yes.' The affirmation, the acceptance, the sign of admittance. And that 'Yes' is more than an answer to one thing, it's a kind of 'Amen' to life, to the earth that holds this thing, to the thought that created it, to yourself for being able to see it."

I had the pleasure of seeing The Tallest Man On Earth playing live on Thursday past. For at least 2 hours he put his heart and soul into everything that he played, and I can honestly say that I have never seen a musician get into the music so much. It was so evident by his behaviour that he loves what he does and that he was born to make beautiful music. For someone to describe Kristian Mattson as 'mediocre' is quite laughable really. He is so much more than that. His music changed my life.

I remember discovering this guy through this video a couple years ago and i remember playing this video over and over again and falling in love with it. Kristian Matsson is so freaking under rated man, he deserves so much more recognition then he gets.

Paul Scannapieco now you've pointed that out I'm thinking overly about out. You're right, his hand is like elastic with the pick always on the strings. I'm much more stiff when playing.
