like jazz history's short movie. local, sentimental and bluesy. and there mister henderson's beautiful harmony. some europian taste? mister romain and mister archibald's taste. thank you, masters.
Came here after watching sharp eleven's transcription video. I couldn't tell in the video if he was playing unison with a saxophone or not at first. Amazing how well he is able to mimic the sax here. Absolutely breathtaking.
The greatest jazz rock guitarist ever. Feel and tech and singing the notes in a tuneful way and an ear for melody ( unlike most fusion musicians 😂 )… big ups to the Master Scott Henderson 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Saw you guys in Athens on Friday March 16. Loved the chemistry of all three of you, and your approach in music. Pretty inspiring. Hope to see you again soon enough.
I needed to hear this, I've been a pro guitarist all my life & when I hear technical guitar 99% of the time I usually am thinking about what scale's & other techniques they are using & understanding what they are doing immediately , & that destroys the song for me, I can't help it . But you took me on a musical journey where I just listened & didn't think, I just got lost in a beautiful musical world. Only one other guitarist has done this to me & that was Saint Allan Holdsworth, you took me to that place I rarely go & that's just listening & enjoying instead of trying to work what the heck you where doing . Obviously you are different to Holdsworth, no one could do what he did. You do have a blue's based style, but some lick's where reminiscent of Holdsworth. I'm not saying you copied him, I'm saying that you are on another level like Holdsworth . Amazing .
un petit Vendéen à la batterie. Bravo Archibald. Belle progression depuis les soirées hootnanny de Fontenay où je t'ai vu à la batterie quand tu était encore tout gamin. Carrément bluffé que ce petit gars conduise les adultes avec ses baguettes. Continues comme çà :-)
PS - It goes without saying how much I dig Scott's playing. I hope you guys do too. Doesn't matter who you 2 are playing with, let us subscriber's know ! When I heard you guys playing Minuano in an Archie's session, realized I hadn't heard it for years, and had never played it. Hearing you guys inspired me to chart it out & learn it this morning. Thanks for the inspiration.
That's so cool, he's Incredible isn't he . A very inspiring guitarist to those of us with years of playing , when you get to this stage you'r not doing it for the money , Scott's making Art .
I hear a hint of undertones all over this piece. You a very fine tuned touch up and down the neck. Jaco would have loved to play alongside or the other way around.
Romain . Great playing . You have such an edge like the greats of the “Past “ and made it all your own . Witness the Trio live at The Baked Potato a few years ago and till this day continue to amaze me . Real music ! Not “The Gram” music . FYI , people mover is tremendous !
Incredible! Very few Guitarist can work the Guitar to get that certain Sound that they want, Like a Lion tamer! Hendrix, Beck & Henderson here! Other greats, The guitar is merely an extension of their body, Page, Clapton etc
Great writing, great playing , lots of listening going on .... love it !
Scott's melodic sense, the construction of a solo... Unique. Master.
So great!!!!
Nobody plays like Scott Henderson - very happy for his success
That "My favourite things" phrase he starts of his solo with is just *chefs kiss*
Scott's on another level. He's one of those guitar players that is an artist first rather than just another guitarist.
He’s a guitarist’s guitarist
Unique phrasing... challenging and always very musical! Also the trio sound is killer, a perfect match really...
just love, love, love this. He is one of a kind.
Absolute favorite rhythm section with Scott. Happy to see them live in Europe these days.
Awesome music from a beautiful dimension
My God, what's in his head? Best of the best !!!
So accurate.
Simply awesome ! Pure magic !
Scott Henderson is in the class of all time great in this Master performance
Just wow! Scott's playing is beyond awesome 😎
