Well, You can't blame EG honestly. They are a fairly new team. But most important of all, EG had all the cards stacked against them in the final. Details below,
FNC had upper bracket advantage two map picks in the final. EG had just played with PRX the day before. Although they won, we know how intense PRX can be and how close it was.
To have to showup the next day and face another powerhouse like FNC is just downright cruel. Riot should change this law amd routine.
P.S. EG faced all the qualifier champions and defeated them quite soundly. All TL, Loud and Team Liquid. They should be proud. I mean their coach Potter walking by the Tokyo Cup wanting to touch it but removing her hand was just heartbreaking.

Please remember. The trajectory of EG so far.
Before the league began, EG was called the worst team in the franchise, with many criticizing them for firing Coach Potter.

4 wins and 5 losses in the league match. Furthermore, EG lost 13-0 at Pearl Loud.

At the end of the league game, EG faced a situation where they would be eliminated unless Mibr beat 100T.

Spectacular Mibr breaks 100T and EG advances to playoff.

Demon1 acquires Bald Buff, defeats NRG and C9, EG advances to Miracle Masters Tokyo. "*He said on Twitter that he would be bald if Mibr beat 100T. And He did what said."

Demon1 was told that wouldn't be able to participate in the Masters Tokyo because Demon1 didn't have a visa or passport, but three days before the tournament Demon1 arrived in Tokyo thanks to the efforts of manager KurtG.

Beat FUT and DRX in the group stage to advance to the play-offs

Win the rematch with Loud, defeat LIQUID and secure Top 3 or higher.

EG lost to Fnatic by a narrow margin, but defeated PRX in the Lower to advance to the Grand Finals.
The story of EG's trajectory was a wonderful and moving story that no other team could imitate. Unfortunately they lost to Fnatic of the gods in the end, but They will be proud of their excellent run in this tournament.

There are no reason to compare the story to any other team, each team has its own story. The differences are inspiring on its own and EG have their own charm.
That’s all I have to say. Other than that I wholly agree. They have one hell of a wonderful run till this point. We will wonder what story these teams will present at Champions. Cheers!🎉

Some comments are demeaning each other teams while players are (considered) friends playing competitively.
People should learn to respect and understand the reality of this. Players are people. Game is a Game. The purpose of the event in the end is not only to win competitively, but to entertain the crowd and prolong the game.
Let the match be your entertainment and not the tool to affiliate yourself. Some people just glossing over too much and leave their toxicity in the wild. You can learn to respect everyone simultaneously like how you can hate everyone simultaneously.
Well, just useless blabbering. But realistically these toxic behaviors can slowly seeped in and affect your daily life. If that’s happened, do not forgot that you can contact trusted mental clinic near you to help you.
    Lastly, cheers! 🎉

The round derke 2 entry frag won on split, And the comeback on bind. Imagine if EG took those maps. This would be a diff story this shows how deadly fnc would be. Hopefully on champions other team would show up like loud and drx, PRX with something is also a threat but for now. EG FNC is the top dogs when it comes to utility coordination and execution. FNC just have the edge when it comes clucth situation a very tough squad 😊

We'll see if they can do it again at Champions. Let's go :) Congrats to EG as well they made map 2 and 3 really exciting.

EU has just showed us why they are a superior region. Total of five trophies, significantly more than America and the Pacific, if both do not catch up, it will be completely dominated by the EU, exactly like csgo
EU is always on top..... Wp Fnatic It was a fantastic run, and the crowd was amazing as well. Take notes Bronz7L, how to be respectful towards teams other than that of Bra71L

    • @ValkorianM
      @ValkorianM Год назад +2

EU is always on top? EU has one team that performs extraordinarily well at any one time.
The first Masters was won by Sentinels.
The second Masters was won by Gambit Esports which is a Russian team. 77% of Russia's land area is Asian with the remainder being European so I'd more so classify it as Asian then European.
The first Champions was won by Acend.
The third Masters was won by OpTic (European team wasn't even a runner-up it was a South American team)
The fourth Masters was won by FPX. (FPX was seemingly a fluke as they fell off immediately after but hey, a wins a win so it doesn't matter.)
The second Champions was won by LOUD. (European team again wasn't even a runner-up, that spot belongs to OpTic.)
VCT LOCK-IN was won by Fnatic.
The fifth Masters was won by Fnatic.
Are you seeing a pattern here? Europe relies on a single team to dominate and as soon as that team falls off - so does Europe.
So for international tournaments Masters & Champions the score is 3-2.
3-3 if you count LOCK-IN and 2-4 if you count Gambit being a European team which it really isn't geologically.
You know what I'll even give the 4-2 to Europe but even that doesn't really mean shit. Europe is split into 44 different countries which leads to 44 nationalities which can result in immense cultural diversity which often leads to a different style of thinking which helps Europe keep an edge strategically.
You also seem to be forgetting that all of these games have been very close and even though FNC 3-0'ed EG every single game was close so saying that "EU just showed us how they are superior" is bullshit because they didn't.
Asia is also only just started to evolve in Esports. Edward Gaming performed exceptionally well and if you think in 5 years that China's pool of teams and skill level won't increase your out of your goddamn mind. Jerking off EU is just as cringe as jerking off NA and every other region.
