    Intro:
    If you're craving for a quick snack, this recipe is the way to go. It's very simple to make but unlike normal snacks, this kaara kadalai uses no oil. Best of all it's really easy to make. Kaara kadalai is enjoyed as a snack by itself or can be mixed with kaara pori. The link for the Kaara Pori recipe is at the end of this video.
    Ingredients:
    200gms raw peanuts
    1&1/2 tsp chilli powder
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    few curry leaves
    3 pinch salt
    Method:
    1. In a small bowl, take the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt, then mix well with 2 tbsp of water. keep aside.
    2. In a pan, dry roast the raw peanuts. Fry them until peanuts are roasted well and turns golden. To check, take a roasted peanut and try removing the skin. If it's roasted correctly the skin will peel effortlessly and quickly. After peeling check to see if you can see the gold roasted skinless peanut.
    3. Now add the spice mixed water on top of the roasted peanuts and mix well to combine. Then add the curry leaves.
    4. Keep frying until the spice mix is coated well and the peanuts are well dried in the heat. Keep the flame to low.
    5. As we add the spiced water, the peanuts are soaked and wet. To make the peanuts dry, fry until it becomes crunchy and crisp. Turn off the flame. All done.
    Mouth-watering instant Kaara Kadala is ready to serve with a cup of coffee or tea.
    Tips: When this Kaara Kadalai is mixed with Kaara Pori/ spiced puffed rice, it's a pure bilss.
