2pac’s been gone for over a quarter Century, and he’s still being talked about. The man is the most influential Hip-Hop artist.
I believe he’s more remembered because of his attitude and the way he acted. That’s why lots of gangsters like him and them are the ones that keep him alive. Even wannabe gangsters Tupac touched. Even people that wish they had the balls to say what they want are fans of him.
If you say no…. Than tell me this. Pac and his music let’s say he just did his music. But in the streets he wasn’t in the presents of gangs and didn’t say shit openly while in the public.
Tell me would he be as big now?
Under those circumstances?
If you are sane and comprehend what I just said . Would he be the same now. And I said no?
He wouldn’t be talked about this long. So he is remembered more for the controversy he did than his music.
Tupac doesnt act the way he did if he wasn’t with the mob
One other thing I meant to post with this… thanks for the like and it just reminded me.
I’m no square posting this shit. Im what people call in the street a real one. I done did dirt, done hustled drugs and not no small shit. I lived off of the money. Didn’t have no job.
But I say these things because I was around these kind of people. Many people from all walks of life from killers to squares.
I knew real gangsters and the way 2pac was brought in the mix of being mob. Is fugazi… mob James ain’t the only one upset about 2pac just being let in. Lots of members felt a certain kind of way about that. They may not have said it out loud, but they don’t have to.
2pac was killed by bloods. Bloods/cops. Possibly by dudes from the same set. Maybe not buntry, neck bone or any of them close to pac. I’m talking the ones in the set that wasn’t included in the whole Hollywood treatment group.
I’m talking about real bangers that may have seen that whole act as an insult to the work they done put in.
PAC was not a gangster, he never was.
The whole reason why he’s dead is because of his own actions. You ever hear what happens to people when they want to be the center of attention? I’ll tell you what happens to those people. Shit happens to them and 8x out of 10 it’s negative. When you go sticking your nose in someone else’s garbage or bring your garbage, your business to the public?
Ain’t nothing good about either.
It’s so bad for 2pac because first off he already hated by gov. He comes from a former panther and not just any panther but one who got over on the gov. So automatically he is hated. What did he do to cool the situation? He put his nose in others business and shot what he saw was two white men. Come to learn the cops. That’s not what he needed. Had he knew they was cops, he ain’t shooting them. But he brought on more intense hatred to himself by getting involved. He’s already hated!
What else did he do? Well he kept hanging around stupid people and got a sexual assault charge and that’s a title no one likes let alone give another reason for police to want you more.
That’s his personal life.
So now in his professional life he brings drama to work and in the midst of making film he and his good buddies come on a set and jump. Not fight. Jump one of the film directors? He also continues to talk more crap on many people involving the studio shooting. You can only blame one, but he was blaming everyone but the rest of the attendees at that studio. Their was a lot of people at that studio. But he just handpicked who he wanted heat with. One being jimmy and when it comes to henchmen that includes Haitian jack and company. You got you guys there.
But he went even further to blame big because he was just there. Tell me this. What if big wasn’t there? I wonder would he be that crazy to still stick with the HE KNEW AND DIDNT TELL ME.?
It’s clear he didn’t like puff and Andre Harrell.
He knew big had no control over what jimmy and his people did to him. Those guys were extorting them also.
So he gets in a fight with suge, their been statements made by bodyguards that pac was mad and that money was being stolen from him. There is talks of him saying he’s out after makaveli, he did the audit on his home boy.
And remember he wants out, he had to fight to get money when time came to get paid.
If this is me… and my business partner is fuckin me. Clearly no trust. I don’t trust anyone fuckin wit my money. That’s my livelyhood.
So why the fuck is this man attending this fight with this individual I can no longer trust.
Why am I going. Better yet. Why would I ride with him and not my homies who is do trust and bodyguard?
It’s clear he doubted his gut, he was careless and probably a bit pussy.
All the signs were there if what could happen. You got contracts that were needing to be signed to break away from this company, and lining up your next venture makaveli records.
If those was in play. Why put yourself in such predicament? You are the soul provider of your family. Lots of people depend on you?
Why would you do that??
Because ladies and gentlemen it’s one of the two. The man wasn’t smart and very stupid….
Or he quit on his family and sacrificed himself and do you know what else it was for?
Just to say or leave this world…. But at least I wasn’t no punk and I didn’t go out like a sucka….
Remember that saying Richard Pryor said on Harlem nights…. What he said to his son Quck?
Here lies a man he died at 36 but he ain’t no punk!!
What did Mr Pryor say after?
that’s bs! To die and say he wasn’t no punk.
But do you know. When you die, when you’re 89. You got your kids around you and your grand kids around you.? That’s Cool!!
Remember what is said here brothers and sisters. You have e a choice.
What I can take from Mr Shakur is. Don’t be like me, do it better and make the most intelligent choice. That’s to live….
That knowledge I just kicked. If I was a Blackman and I had a platform like in entertainment.
If I spoke that same speech… I would be looked at as a dick Gregory, Malcom, or just a leader activist of my people.
There is righteousness in the person standing by you. It’s just we tend to refuse to not listen. Because they aren’t famous??
Wisemen and women are around it’s just you didn’t focus in on what was being said.

@stryfetc1 on the hot97 interview recently he said him and nip got back on good terms, and nip wanted to bring him back into the music, he was in nipseys “rap niggas video” and gave him an award at some show right before nip passed....basically they became cool again before the nip passing.

I'm from Seattle but about 6 months after 9*11 I got thee opportunity to go 2 New York for work and I was ready to go the very second I was offered thee opportunity! I spent 2 years living at Queen's & 2 years living a couple of miles outside of Boston in Stoneham, Mass. Anyways while in New York I remember that 1 of the 2 hip hop stations on the FM Dial had a Tupac Tribute/Memory Hour the station would play back to back to back Pac tracks as well as celebrity stories about Pac as well as listeners/fans calling in and adding there thought on Pac! It was nothing but 1000% Love being sent out to Pac via New York City Radio Waves no disrespect to B.I.G. (never that!) but he wasn't getting that play & love like that back there then! I want to say that they did that hour Pac love thing (and that's just what I'm calling it to memorialize what my ears often witnessed while working at N.Y.C.) but I think it was an everyday thing Monday thru Friday with a 1 hour time slot dedicated to Tupac Talk & Song Play! I've had a brain aneurysm and a couple surgeries because of that and my memories often get stuck in my brains clutter so if anyone can recall what I'm talking about and fill in the blanks for me like what station was it, was it every night or every Friday or once a month, who the d. J. Was that put that together, & etc I'd appreciate it from the bottom of my ❤️ for real! Peace*Love*Music From Seattle Y'all! 206 😷🤐😷

The WestCoast act like they innocent to the EastCoast WestCoast bullshit. Shit we was rob of a lot of great artists because of that bs. Smh

Big U said Dogg Pound’s “New York, New York” record was showing NY respect. That’s something new. NY cats always had respect for Kurupt cause he could straight spit. He was and LA dude but came from Philly so his understanding of wordplay was relatable. The thing that came across as disrespect is making a song called NY NY and then on the song saying “...the night I served 10,000 MC’s...”. Kurupt later on told a story how he came to NY and battled a bunch of random dudes and destroyed everyone. But at the time with all the tension it came across as a diss to artists in NY. Nobody knew he had battled all these dudes .. they thought he was talking about established artists in the game. Got love for both coasts and down south. Grew up on all that. NY historically was always on some bias shit towards everyone outside of the 5 boroughs and hell there's bias within those boroughs too. Unfortunately when it came to music ( more specifically rap music) they had a superiority complex towards westcoast artists and south artists. I remember growing up in Sacramento and I heard Tim Dog dissing Compton ( Fuck Compton) I remember Funk Flex talking about how westcoast slang was funny style, referring to the use of dog... Then when DMX came out it was all about dog this dog that. The thing is growing up in California we didn't act like that towards the East. We listened to all of their music. I think what put the West over the top in the 90's was the film industry and the crisp production and real music behind the artist vs the traditional sample and loop.
Now look at New York claiming west coast gangs and trying to gang bang😭😂😁
Its because New Yorkers come from a heavily immigrant background so they naturally have a 'us vs them' mentallity especially against African Americans. Think about it, Tim Dog, Biggie Smalls and Funk Flex are all Jamaicans. Noreaga (Puerto Rican) and Capone (Haitian)... Chino XL too. All the other New York rappers with family ties to the North & South Carolinas etc like Nas, Wu-Tang etc were actually cool with the south and west.
