MC EIHT responded with so much validity and class. He does not blame anyone but instead he puts the whole situation into perspective. Ultimately, Biggie had a choice. He made a choice between his own life and his career. And chose the latter.
RIP To both Tupac and Biggie.

Choice, You mean a subliminal ultimatum?
A man is responsible for his own assassination because he dared visit a metropolitan area of about 18 million people including fans of his music?
Nah, the man with the gun, shooting bullets into the car is Responsible for murdering a human being.
Keefy was there and neck deep in both (instead of a cage where he should have been).
The truth in there is… play gangster games, win gangster prizes; live and die by the (S)word; action/reaction.
The all get Got, sooner or later.

Nothing you wrote changes the fact, if Pac didn't lie, none of this would've happened. Biggie would not have had to worry about coming to LA if Pac didn't lie. Pac acted like an idiot and got people killed. Did it to himself also.

“Who Shot Ya?” was originally recorded in 1994 with Keith Murray on the 2nd verse. It was recorded during the “Ready To Die” sessions but ultimately left off the album. A second verse by Biggie was recorded and Keith Murray was taken off it still in 1994. In February 1995, Puffy pulled up the track, recorded adlibs and released it as an alternative B-Side to special rereleases of the “Big Poppa/Warning” single, which had originally been released in ‘94. This information is for all those commenting that “Who Shot Ya?” was a Tupac diss! If anyone is to blame for this, it’s Puffy for releasing it to the world at the dumbest time possible… Peace!

That’s why most people understand where Tupac was coming from. It boggles my mind how some people can’t understand how pac gets shot then he hears a song (from someone he thought was his friend) called “who shot ya”….anybody would think that song is about them.

I’m in total agreement with Eight on this one. The people that made the decision for Big to go out to Cali when they did are who’s responsible for Bigs death. Not Tupac. Big should’ve known better as well. He also should’ve known better to go around freestyling Long Kiss Goodnight while giving interviews on the radio stations out there. That’s just rubbing salt in the wound if you ask me. He might’ve gotten out of LA alive if he would’ve went out there on a more respectful tip and been more humble about it all. Just my opinion on it.

I’ll buy that for Tupac but not in Biggie’s case. Biggie NEVER wanted to go to LA at that time, everyone around him at that time has expressed in countless interviews that Biggie didn’t wanna go and didn’t feel comfortable going but Puffy really pressed him about going even though they were actually supposed to be headed to London.
So I wouldn’t chalk BIG’s thing to arrogance, I would say his mistake was still “trusting” Puffy at that point even though Puff was f’n him out of his money

@@Frugal637 Puffy(according to Keefe D) offered him 1 mill to "make this Suge and 2pac problem go away..."
By now with all the death threats Puffy and them were getting from Suge, Pac and his crew- I believe Puffy got concerned and scared for his life. So he hired south side Compton crips to act as extra security against Suges MOB piru bloods.
Apparently it got to a point were Puffy wanted to get rid of these dudes, so he offered 1 mil and Keefe D and crew answered the call.
FF to Las Vegas Mike Tyson fight Sept 7. Suge, Pac and them and Keefe D with Orlando and others went down there too to see the fight.
I think Keefe said that they had just came to see the fight, but then Pac and them jumped Orlando in the MGM.
And they decided to go ahead a seize that opportunity to pop them.
They knew they were gonna be at club 662 so they rode there and waited.
Pac and them didn't go to 662 right away, they went back to the hotel, changed clothes and stuff. Reggie wright Jr had that whole change with security not having weapons and Pac rode with Suge on they way to 662.
Keefe said they went to a store to get some to snack on I guess, cuz Pac and them wasn't at 662 yet. Got back on the strip, heard groupies and fans yelling Pac this and that, and saw that the car was indeed filled with Pac and Suge.
      Perfect for a drive-by.
They rode up to the passenger side and Orlando fired 💥💥💥💥💥 and sped off. Security in another car tried chasing but lost them.
Keefe said later after the news hit, puff called and asked was that them? As in, was that Keefe who shot them?
I fully believe Puff put out the hit.
      Now, BIG? Idk.

The moment that I read that Big was going to L.A., was the moment that he died to me. All respect to him, I've always been a big fan since first hearing him on the 'The Who's The Man?' movie soundtrack CD. I don't remember where I was when I heard that Big died, but I DO remember where I was when I read the article about him going to L.A., because that was the moment that I knew it was a wrap. And I remember him making very fatalistic comments about not living anymore around that time. It's lead me to think that Big really was ready to die, just as his first album title said. R.I.P. to both, Tupac & Big. It should not have gone that way.
