I've always liked the Beretta. My mom had an 88 when I was growing up. I had a 90 GTU myself. I loved that car. Both my moms and mine had the 2.8L MPFI V6. Wish I never sold it.

I own a Beretta too, 1991 2.2 model. Very cool car man, love it. I live in The Netherlands and you don't see any of them over here so getting parts is a bit of a pain. But hey, nobody that I know has such a unique daily driver tho. Fucking love that thing.

I restored my cavalier Z24 so Restore this Beretta! Any car can be restored! Congratulations and good job getting it started and running! Try putting so Lucas, prolong and mobil conventional oil in there! Should make it run like wet ice against wet ice.
Paint it! Red pinstripe it and redwall some new tires like I did mine😂😂😂

@@swaguilar9323 depends of how deep you wanna go! Mine rotted out so bad I had to find a complete floor from rocker to rocker out in oklahoma from a 90 sunbird took a year and a 1/4 to get it back from restoration. Love my car to much to let it go so I took down many neck aching phone calls to get my car perfect, while myself doing other cosmetic work. Look under your carpet and take a look to see if it is rotted or good! Depends if you wanna go for it🤷 You could drop a 3500 LX9 Swap in the furure or make it a Z26 clone🤷 if you love it enough, go for it👍.
If I can do it you can do it
Edit. My car sits worth $10,000 and is going up in value as a classic car, you'd be surprised of the potential in any car, that doesn't seem worth it

You shouldn't do a RUclips video cutting down a car if you don't even know when the model came out.... The Beretta came out in 1987 not 1993 and it was very very popular because it was the "Affordable Muscle/Performance Coupe" that you could drive everyday from GM and replaced the Monte Carlo/Nova. It was also by far cheapest car in it's class with the Mercury Cougar/Ford Thunderbird (Base price $15,000) and the Dodge Daytona/Plymouth Laser ( Base Price $13,000) at the time. It was the High School Dream car of most of us mid Gen Xers because it was actually affordable, 2-4 grand isn't much of a difference now but back then it was alot, in today money it's $5800 so your talking 26k for the Daytona/Laser and 28k for the Thunderbird, That's a BIG difference in price for a car in the same class.

@@swaguilar9323 If it passes a compression test, I'd say no. Put your efforts into changing everything you can made out of rubber instead. That being said, if the pan gasket is leaking and you need to pull the engine anyway, I would refresh the engine at that point.
