Man, thank you so much! I dont remember this puzzle from my first playthrough, but probally ive used your method then as well. I just did what you did while pausing the video in between. Glad you just showed it with just 1 person lighing the flames. The rest used multiple persons which was a bit confusing to follow. So thanks for this!
Sadly it appears mine is glitched. I followed the instructions for the second one -- had all 3 torches lit, the pillar was down, but when the archer shot that fire it acted like the pillar was still up and the flame wouldn't light.
you cannot i repeat cannot put one party next to each torch!!!!!! i tried it. i said hold position...they followed anyway. the only one who listens is the main character.
You know, this video would have been much more helpful if you had explained how to ensure that your party members stay where you place them. Everytime I switch to a new one, the previous hold command is cleared.

How do I command a player to stay in a spot seperatly from whole groups, so I can set each in separate positions? Only able to get whole group to follow commands instead of separately
one part is leaving a member standing on the square in the north west corner that lights up.last one doesn't need one stand but wheel must be turned and all three torckes must be lit then pull lever.irritating puzzle. glith made the door with wheel sometimes there sometimes not I got luck and kept trying to walk thru it and finally did
While I appreciate the clarity, this is clearly not the full solution to the puzzle. There must either be other things one must do in the environment elsewhere (over the hills & far away) or it may never work at all; in my case, I could get the first 2 orbs glowing, but the third one was only an excuse for a dim Cassandra voice to say, almost whisper, as I/we went away, "It doesn't work in my game; I must go elsewhere and be violent". Too rite, Cazz! In the immortal words of the New York Dolls, "Frustration, heart ache, that's what ya got !".

Mine wouldn't work either, and I followed the instructions correctly after five attempts :(

the loot didn't matter, everything what you do its for that tunnel exit, where you need to kill 1 target from Cassandra mission and that hard dragon
you can get to them without doing this

Mark Jakims on PS3, it's L1, and you have to select each char individually.

Loot was weak once you get inside and fight the lich. Playing on normal might have something to do with that though.

Yaa... i cant do it, the game bugged and the orbs wont light. Literally can get all of the pillars down, but the orbs DO NOT LIGHT!

yeah.. on pc fuckin hold is not working at all, not for the whole party and certainly not individually.
