What should you do if you encounter a wrong-way driver?

Prevent them: good traffic signs, arrows on the road, make a safe space where people can turn back, do regular substance checks of drivers and car papers so you weed out the ones that use alcohol or don’t have a valid drivers license etc.
Make people aware: let everyone know the protocols about what to do in case you encounter a wrong way driver, bring awareness to the problem so people drive more attentively.
Stop them: have LIVE signals that adjust if there’s a wrong way driver.
This rarely happens in Belgium, even though we have shit infrastructure so I believe the US can prevent it too. This shouldn’t be that hard.
