    Can my husband adopt a child without my consent ?

      I do not believe so but that is a great question for an adoption attorney.

      At the very least the issue of your non-consent would come up during the pre-adoptive home study and I imagine it would raise red flags to the case worker(s). You could even call them ahead of time to make sure your husband has divulged to them that he is willing to adopt but you are not. I don't really know, but it might just stop the process in its tracks.
