Well… Kim is an alcoholic, I don't think it is a good idea to live in denial about that when you're dealing with a family member. I think it helped her on her path to sobriety. The fact here is that they are on a reality show, so everything was very public. Imagine a world where Kyle and Kim never brought this up, the show would be so boring.
