What It's Like To Be A Billionaire In Nigeria

- What’s it like to be a Billionaire in Nigeria? Africa’s largest and most populated country with 214.3M inhabitants is home to only eight billionaires. The top dog of them all is Aliko Dangote, who controls a $14.1B fortune. He is worth more than double the country’s number two and three monopoly men Mike Adenuga and Abdul Samad Rabiu are worth. We’ll look at ridiculous yachts, lavish private jets, excessive exotic cars - all the usual trimmings of a billionaire's assets. Well snoop around home addresses and see the furniture. We’ll look at investments, donations, business deals - all things money. If we combine the wealth of all the billionaires on this list, we’d have $41.03B. That’s just under 10% of Nigeria’s 2021 GDP of 440B. I mean, it would take a person spending of $1M a day for over 112 years to exhaust that fortune. Although Nigeria’s 2019 Minimum Wage act increased the minimum wage for Nigerian workers from N18,000 to N30,000, or from $43.29 to $72.15, but there are still 90M of Nigeria’s inhabitants living in extreme poverty. So $700M bullet proof homes, fathers that buy each of their daughters $227,000 Ferrari Portofino’s, and $46M Global Express XRS private jets with sleeping cabins feel lightyears away for many Nigerians. Still, we can be repulsed by wealth as much as we are attracted to it, and this is the principle this video is built on!

The best industry to make money in 2022 is food item or oil product. Does everyone believe that?
I totally agree. My question is "what is the strategy in running an oil company or selling food products"?
No It’s Technology
You mean in Nigeria right?
Sir can u give reasons why?? I'm curious 🤔 how
@@gideonakinwusi1139 My friend, in the video you can see all wealthy person investing in oil or products. Have you seen the entire video?
Money invested is far better than money saved, when you invest it gives you the opportunity to increase your financial worth.

Bitcoin, stock, Gold, NFT's are lucrative investment but you will need a professional guide.

Fun fact: Dangote net worth is now at $20 billion dollars making him the 83rd richest person in earth
Honestly, something tells me it's even more..
I was about to ask, how come for four years straight, he's still said to be worth $14B whereas his enterprises Keep making huge profit annually, and surely, there's an increase in the value of the shares he possesses
Its alot more
@@michaelyannmbei4083 HE ONCE SAID ON TV THAT WHEN PUBLICATIONS VALUE HIS NETT WORTH,THEY DON'T TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION HIS PRIVATE COMPANIES(OF WHICH HE HAS MANY), ONLY HIS PUBLIC COMPANIES LISTED ON THE NSE.

You learn more from failure than from success. Don’t let it stop you. Failure builds character.” - Unknown
Point of correction many Nigeria s live in standard houses... Not slums... That has to stick somewhere
No mind this yeye people with their propaganda
There's this unsettling tone of disdain from the narrator towards this acclaimed men towards their charity to worth causes in your video that's so unsettling....the comparison at times is really needed....it's just not called for....give them the respect and leave it at that....I'm all for the rich donating towards worthy cause but one thing is certain they aren't actually obligated to do that....they provide enough towards revenue to their country's economy and their provision of jobs as well....In my opinion the bashing in that area wasn't actually necessary...a well detailed video by the way
This is eye opening......Thank you!
Continue like this 👍🏼
Yo Nigerian here nice video but we have more than 30 billionaires in Nigeria
What I have Been waiting for
I laughed when I heard Goodluck Johnson,lol
Best narration. 💯
So proud to be a Nigeria
You can't be a Nigeria, but you can be a Nigerian.
Learn some basic grammar before you comment next time.
Why are YOU proud? You are not sharing in any of this wealth? This is embarrassing… Being proud of money hoarders imagine 🙄🤦🏽♀️ You should call for the guillotine… And seize their money to provide free education, housing and healthcare for all Nigerian children. That’s when you can be a proud Nigerian…

TheRichest, Thank You.
This video is likened to when you find out that your crush is actually interested in You.
@TheRichest your video is filled with too many inaccuracies. Most of the people you mentioned are not billionaires in Dollars. The house you claimed belonged to Aliko Dangote actually belongs to Femi Otedola. Mike Adenuga does own a Bombardier Global XRS but he doesn't own a Falcon7x, his second jet is a Bombardier Challenger 604. Folorunsho Alakija does not own a $700M home, it's just some lazy bloggers who have been peddling this white lie. Do your homework properly so that you don't misinform your viewers.

Africans ain't starving bro.. Europeans and Americans also starve too. Life is quite cheap and easier here don't follow what you see on media.
