To those who are wondering: the sheet music at the background is computer-generated and is literally unreadable, but the sheet in the link is readable for human - and the output MIDI files are pretty much the same.

that sheet is confusing with all the ties that span over 32rd and 64th notes - some multiple punctuation would look a lot less intimidating and would make the rythm a lot clearer.
I think that the sheet music was computer-generated directly from the MIDI-file...

i remember playing this a few years ago, a slightly simplified version for the left hand (used 3 notes instead of 4, and it worked perfectly)

It uses innecesary notes, like the trill is did on notes instead of put a freacking trill.
It's the result when you simply download a midi file and convert it to a sheet music. Some call it "minimal effort" :/

Nice idea but it loses so much by just playing it through a computer. Every note is the same volume which very much is not the case when played and the timings are usually performed with the tiniest bit or artistic variation. There probably is some algorithm that could put that 'expression' in and it would be more convincing.
Depends on which software you are using. For example Fruity loops and Logic pro can make each note seperate from the other in volume. You can even record yourself playing this on a midi keyboard connected to the computer and it will record how hard you press each key. It's just that this program that you are seeing here is not able to do that, probably because its free.

This program is not free. Anyways, the volume does not change because this program works with MIDIs, and the person who made the midi did not change the volume of individual notes.
It has nothing to do with limitations of the program, or limitations of the computer.

@Classical Piano History Who did the reduction from orchestra to piano? Is this your arrangement, or did someone else along the way do that and you've transcribed that arrangement? Just wanting to know more about the history of this version. It's really good (I'm a professional piano coach, and will use this with some of my students, if that's ok).
