Really cool campaign that's made funnier due to the fact that you're playing it during forsaken after Cayde's death. I also thought it was funny seeing ionic traces during the segment where the guardian loses light. I would die for this campaign to come back it's so cinematic at least in the intro.

They should’ve just made a Destiny 3 or something to hold all the stories from the expansions, instead of just removing all the stuff like the original campaign to make room for them.
They should do what the current lineup of cod games do where you have access to everything and can pick and choose what you want to have installed that way players could experience all the dlc and base game story content at least and then once you’re done just uninstall that specific game data or whatever. The next mission takes you to Nessus where you meet failsafe she explains a guardian akin to you was here a few years ago explaining some of the plot to the red war you first go to Cayde’s ship to get a piece to partially restore your ship but you need to get more parts so you go to the colony ship ghost remarks how some of the technology is very similar to some stuff found on Titan he explains the concept of light and dark you go to the captains old office and find a warp drive and a sidearm based off the 1911 called the antique pistol you only pickup commons and uncommons for progressions sake but this pistol is a rare you make it back to your ship you pack it up and leave Nessus but you can’t enter the tower normally due to security complications you’ll have to go through the wall of the tower so you now go to a new location The Central American Dead zone
You land and you can see the tower in the distance so you make your way through the jungle and abandon city where we are truly introduced to the fallen and they have control over the territory you fight your way through and meet a small fireteam along the way they are a wandering group of vendors essentially anyways there is a cutscene where you and the group sit around a camp fire they tell you about red war and how the served in it and curse of osiris and warmind the hunter of the group brings up cayde’s death and the events of Forsaken
you leave very early in the morning the sun isn’t out yet you hike to the panama ravine you find a spent 10 Gauge shotgun shell ghost tells you to pick it up he tells you about amanda holiday and her life he says it’ll be good to go on her memorial things are going well until it’s broken by a vandal’s wire rifle charging a shot and a horde of fallen approaching Zavala calls through a radio signal to help fight the incursion a guardian arrives joined by others shaxx shows up and yells for you to grab a heavy you can select a LMG RPG or GL you fight until sunrise when you score the final blow on the last fallen which is an archon in a cutscene you use a 1911 shaxx congratulates you
You now arrive in the last city where you are tasked with meeting everyone you get the Idea
Zavala commands you to go do reconnaissance in the EDZ and Cosmodrome which was ravaged by the siva crisis and you end up getting a quest much like the Khvostov rising quest to get the old pistol but exotic you have to find parts to it and you wind up around the tangled shore fighting fallen and have to get some stuff as Spider has the new hammer mechanism for the gun you fight your way back to the sunken tank lost sector which is now a vibrant fallen night club you fight your way through to the final boss who is a rising kell last minute Spider tells you to not kill him but take him alive as he was a defector from spider you extract him and fly back to the fallen sector of the last city

I bet this has already been said before many times but I just needed to say a few things myself because I’m just so disappointed with what I just witnessed.
Hold up. Why is there a pyramid ship on Io? I never played during the red war but I didn’t know this was a thing. And then don’t even mention it at all! I am so confused.
Dude played probably before beyond light, when everything got vaulted
Great vid love your content ❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👆👆👆👆

31:20 why does that discord mod call the traveler the great machine like Eramis?
He’s calling it a great machine instead of the fallen calling it THE great machine
BUNGIE RE-ADD RED WAR AND MY LIFE IS YOURRRRSSSSS!!!!
Bungie wont get a penny from me. They get ma money for a full price on launch. Then they force me to pay second time to get access to dlc. Then they removed red campaign
Ah the memories
This. This was when D2 was actually good. Sadly, it all fell apart a year or two after this beautiful campaign.
I've been playing since D1 and everybody was shttng on D2 (including myself) when it came out.
@@moamoaoz not me, but I was young, so…
@@DogLover1o144Three4 I was 14 at the time
@@moamoaoz god I was 9 when it first released and I’ve been playing ever since. D2 became my childhood lol
@@DogLover1o144Three4 Well I started playing at 11 or 12 I don't remember but I started playing when The Taken King expension came out. I remember loving the "Old Guard" shader that everyone had because they pre-ordered TTK DLC 🤣
And they cut *THIS!* from the game!!! The best campaign next to the final shape. The amount of new players that will never experience the feels of that scene when ‘journey’ started to play for the first time. Absolutely terrible.
The final shape is a drama with enemy fodder garbage that has puzzles and environments stripped from other parts of the game.
Gimme back my red war
