If the artist makes the song his own there is nothing wrong with a cover. But if they trying to do it the same as the original artist it usually just lacks cus the original is so imbedded in our soul .

Ok this is the first song I heard from him and ever since I think I fell in love ❤❤❤ this is just pure talent at its finest! His voice is like what I imagine heaven would be like!
It is astounding, but rare, that one voice and one instrument, unadulterated, can make music like this.
As a father of 2 amazing son’s one is 22 and is currently serving in the U.S army the other is 5 years old. I pray things change and give them the opportunity to achieve what we call the American dream. Things have changed so much. The cost of housing, living, healthcare the list goes on and on. Seems the system wants everyone to live pay check to paycheck and never get ahead to achieve there own slice of the American dream. I pray we all wake up and things change and give our children a rewarding future for there time and sacrifice. This song speaks volumes on what is going on today. Thank you for your amazing song that is touching the many souls hearing it in this world 🌎. Be safe and never forget how we all got here.

I’ve heard this song in so many forms. The original classic, the driving and slightly dark sounding “Me First and the Gimme Gimme’s” version. This one however is dark, powerful and dripping with soul. Shawn can take a song about sorrow and make you feel the loss and pain of the writer. It’s Outstanding!
