Heads up y’all, the stages of grief isn’t linear. You can actually move between the stages back and forth at different moments until the grief period is over. It’s OK and normal to feel you’ve accepted something but then feel angry again. Again, grief isn’t linear, give yourself space to feel and heal. ❤️
I’ve every emotion possible, I’ve cried daily at a drop of a dime. I dry my face and move on with my day. Grieving is needed and it’s okay to go through it. I’m not rushing it bc I need heal from this fully

The stages of grief comes in waves… It won’t happen over 2 days. It may not come in 2 months. You feel ok right now because you may still be in shock but it’s not over🥺 Allow yourself all the time you need because those feelings will arise again. I am 6 months post breakup from my 10 year relationship. Even after these months there are days that I get sad & reminisce about the past. As someone who has been divorced twice, you are going to be alright lil sis. Your attitude towards the breakup is right. Its been just couple of days, you are still in the grieving phase. Some days you'll feel gd and others you may feel sad. If you do, its alright. Give yourself that grace to feel sad that day. Eventually as the days turn to weeks, the weeks turn to months, the sadness won't be there anymore when you think of him. Again you are doing great. Your energy is in the right place. keep doing you and keep stepping forward.

just got out of my 3 year relationship a couple days ago and i’m also doing well. i feel more relieved than sad or mad and people keep telling me that i’m “faking it” but in reality i’m not. when you know you’re a good person and you put good out into in the universe you receive all things good in return (ten-fold). you’re blessed and highly favored, this relationship was just one of God’s tests and you passed! you’re poised, classy and handling it with grace which is very hard to do but everything will be okay you’ll continue to do amazing things in this world 🤍

Sometimes that's how it ends up being for the best. My last relationship after it ended it felt more like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and they said the same, the relationship was no longer good even though we tried our hardest and so it became a burden instead. Knowing when to let go helps shorten that grieving process because you know you tried

Just remember that these "stages" are not always in order and we experience them in different orders. sometimes you may experience the grief kick in later on.
Also, women tend to get over the relationship sooner if there have been problems IN the relationship fo you to start getting over and moving on while still in the relationship.

It’s weird how “Transitioning” and “self discovery” always takes place after we step into a new age (Birthday). I had same experience and I’m glad that relationship ended because I had to awaken to who I really I am.
Grieving doesn’t mean you are weak; it simply means you acknowledge your emotion and you are not putting it under the bus but you’re owning up to it.

The anger has subsided and when the bargaining failed, I’ve been stuck in despair. I keep picturing a scene where he is powerfully laughing with bliss, while I am standing afar, watching him with sad eyes. That’s how it feels, like I am mourning him deeply but he has no recollection of my existence. This isn’t a case where you assume the person is not affected by the separation but they really are.
