    Sir, As you mentioned while using Coefficient Method we can overlook the two way action happening and only consider one way action. Arent we underestimating the load for the rest two beam when we consider one way action while it can be two way? How using coefficient method will be conservative?

    Distribution not only depends on the beam stiffness but it also depends upon the reinforcement provided in slab too

      Overall stiffness of beam and slab comes with the presence of reinforcement only. But when you're designing an element, you have no result of reinforcement area...otherwise there was no need of even designing it.

      Here the self weight is being considered with a a distributed live load

    If check the displacement of the beam and slab when it's within the limits then the behaviour would similar.
