Yeah, and it's frustrating studying different language at the same time cos i did that and i always mixed up the alphabets, it's okay if you only study one language at a time as long as you're able to ace that language ; )
For everyone learning multiple languages at the same time, I divide the year in sections so i can study each language more than the others and I actually see improvement. For example for three months i will concentrate the most in Korean, then the next three months I concentrate on Japanese and so on. I still study the other languages during all months but I prioritize the target language for those 3 months. (Hope this makes sense 😂)

Same, I also have to focus on one language for a time, otherwise I do not feel like I am making any big improvement. It's impossible for me to study several languages at the same time, dividing time between them equally, I don't understand how people can do that. (I'm talking about languages at the beginner or lower intermediate levels. With languages that I have an advanced level in and mostly "maintain" it's possible to just do a little bit every day) Also I find it hard to study several languages in one day, even on a day off when I have free time. I think my brain likes to be focused/immersed in one language and needs it to improve. Right now I would like to study 4 languages at a not-high level (Greek, Mandarin - lower intermediate; Turkish, Korean - beginner) but it's near impossible to fit them all in my schedule, with work and other life stuff/hobbies on top of it...

@@benberra8077 Yes, I speak Spanish, Portuguese and English fluently. It's not easy, but you can do it. My biggest mistake with the other languages I wanted to learn is that I used to try to learn them all at the same time. Sometimes French cached more my attention, but there were days I wanted to learn Mandarin, and other days I wanted to learn Korean and so on and so on. So I could never get fluent on neither of them because I couldn't focus on just one or two. So that's why I decided to start learning French and Mandarin ONLY. I love French and I need to learn it because of my job, but Mandarin it's like my favourite favourite. After that, I'll learn Korean and German. Of course I would love to learn everything at the same time BUT, I really need to be patient because if I keep doing what I did before I will never get fluent and I'll waste my time.

@Patrycja my best friend studied korean, spent time, money, he never uses it, he missed out on a great job because he could not read Kanji and Chinese working in LA...he told me it was the biggest waste of time, and now he studies Chinese night and day and loves it. The Japanese use Chinese script, it is true art, koreans could not learn it so their leaders made hangul, so easy, but not cool at all....China is a world leader, just telling the truth

I went to korea, did not like it, went to Japan, LOVED it! China was so cool too! All my friends love Japan and China the most in Asia, India is cool too, so is Thailand and Laos, good luck!

I'm currently learning Korean and I plan on learning atleast 2 more languages. I'm making slow progress in my learning but the good thing is I'm only in 7th grade, so I have lots of time to improve and learning other languages when your young is suppose to be easier than learning when your an adult. Your guys are so great! The thing that’s easier for children only applies to children under 12/13 years old, so you guys have the disadvantages and the same advantages of adults, brain-wise.
To be honest Thai is REALLY like REALLY HARD to study, am a Thai person and I can assure you that you might regret it. Just don’t over work yourself like how I do in school TvT , don’t learn the details too much it might stress you. Just try to learn the alphabet how to read, spell & write. We’re always here to support you ok. (Remember don’t try to be like me in school bc Thai separate alphabets and ways to talk in different regions, just stick with how people from Bankok speak)

I’ve been learning Korean for almost a week and I already memorized how to count 1-20. I am starting to recognize some of the consonants and vowels whenever I watch videos with korean in it. I’m still however learning the days weeks months and honorifics but I love learning Korean

I want to start watching some Spanish shows to get a better feeling of it. I'm not even close to being able to say anything in Japanese. Those are literally all the languages I'd love to learn (if we add Italian) it's seriously so impressive that you manage to organize all this stuff inside of your head! I can only concentrate on one language at a time so before I can start with another one of those I have to become better at Korean! I had a Thai friend and the language is amazing! She taught me a lot of Thai phrases and it was so cool when I would speak in Thai and she would understand me and I would realise that I was not butchering the language lol. You made me miss Thai ! Great video btw, keep going!

I'm an indian so there are so many languages in india...so I can speak 3 languages, write and read two and understand all 3.. my parents are from Kerala but I was raised in delhi .so I can only speak malayalam but can't read or write

my languages in order: english: first language irish: second language (3 years old when when started, was fluent when 4) spanish: third language: (6 when started, was fluent when 7) japanese: fourth language: (7 when started, was fluent when 10) german: fifth language: (8 when started, was fluent when 10) polish: sixth langauge: (11 when started, was fluent when 12) russian: seventh language: (12 when started, almost fluent, still studying) korean: eighth language: (13 when started, still studying) i was born and raised in ireland, and our *native* language is irish. and ik i said my first language is english but when children in ireland start creche, neenra and junior infance (first year of school, you’d be rarely 3, but mainly 4 or 5) they start learning irish. but not everyone in ireland can speak irish, but we can all defiantly greet ourselves in irish. i wanted to learn a lot of languages so in the future i wont be inarticulate. but ya i kinda wanna learn french but i wanna practise korean and russian first before i do haha.

@Patrycja my best friend studied korean, spent time, money, he never uses it, he missed out on a great job because he could not read Kanji and Chinese working in LA...he told me it was the biggest waste of time, and now he studies Chinese night and day and loves it. The Japanese use Chinese script, it is true art, koreans could not learn it so their leaders made hangul, so easy, but not cool at all....China is a world leader, just telling the truth

But it doesn’t mean that korean is less important than other languages. why do u think so many people are trying to learn Korean?(Including my friends) Korea is a global, and trending country. Learning korean is a great choice, and i love helping my friends learning it. Korean is based on Chinese in some ways, so learning Japanese or Chinese makes it easier to learn Korean. All languages are beautiful and worth enough to learn it. I love every language on Earth, including Korean.

I'm making slow progress in my learning but the good thing is I'm only in 7th grade, so I have lots of time to improve and learning other languages when your young is suppose to be easier than learning when your an adult. To be honest Thai is REALLY like REALLY HARD to study, am a Thai person and I can assure you that you might regret it. Just don’t over work yourself like how I do in school TvT , don’t learn the details too much it might stress you. Just try to learn the alphabet how to read, spell & write. We’re always here to support you ok.
(Remember don’t try to be like me in school bc Thai separate alphabets and ways to talk in different regions, just stick with how people from Bankok speak)

I’ve been learning Korean for almost a week and I already memorized how to count 1-20. I am starting to recognize some of the consonants and vowels whenever I watch videos with korean in it. I’m still however learning the days weeks months and honorifics but I love learning Korean

i was born and raised in ireland, and our *native* language is irish. and ik i said my first language is english but when children in ireland start creche, neenra and junior infance (first year of school, you’d be rarely 3, but mainly 4 or 5) they start learning irish. but not everyone in ireland can speak irish, but we can all defiantly greet ourselves in irish.
i wanted to learn a lot of languages so in the future i wont be inarticulate.
but ya i kinda wanna learn french but i wanna practise korean and russian first before i do haha.

Ah it seems so great to able to understand so many languages at a young age BTW, this really motivates me I can speak 3 languages and I'm studying 4 (I'm the same age as you but turning 14 by April 2022)

After have watched a lot of youtube videos, movies, series, anime and read lots of books and webtoons, English just comes naturally.
Now I'm focusing on Korean, and also to improve my German (when I feel like it) xP

@@blammmed I love greek so much. It sounds amazing and I love how it feels so modern yet so ancient at the same time. Speaking greek just hits different. And the alphabet is>>> I love Greece too, my second favorite country (first, ofc, my dear Italy). Greeks are welcoming and they helped me a lot when I had doubts.
