Those are the best looking, original Caliper covers I’ve seen
The cons of coloring your caliper is also that everytime the color gets dull or scratched up you will have to paint it again....cons of the attachment cover is that everytime you want to service your brakes or change brake oil flush...or change brake pads...that attachment cover will have to be removed and re installed every single time
i painted my calipers with a caliper paint kit that came with a little brush. so i brushed the paint on and didn’t have to mask anything off. i think it’s the easiest of all the options. our second car we used covers and it was super hard to get those little clips screwed in correctly. it took us four very frustrating hours
I don’t understand why you didn’t just take the calipers off and then paint them. I took off mine by removing 2 bolts and then painted them. Makes the job a lot easier by doing this way.
why not spray the cover calipers?

Did you install the caliper covers?
The covers look better than the factory caliper.
My preference is for paint, but I got the performance red from the factory so I haven't felt compelled to do anything, maybe on the Cybertruck though

Also, did you have any other colors in mind? I have a gray Model Y with matte ppf. I’m wondering what colors would go well with it. Yellow and red are nice, just wondering if there’s anything else that would compliment the color.

Have you tried putting the caliper covers on with the uberturbine wheel covers you featured in one of your previous videos? The reason I ask is I had some caliper covers installed on my 2023 Model Y and then I put an aftermarket wheel cover on. My driver side front wheel cover rubbed against the caliper cover but only when I would make a right turn. I'm wondering if this was an issue of the wheel cover sticking into the wheel well too much or if the person who put the caliper covers on just didn't get the caliper covers installed in as far as they could go. It's quite a weird situation because again, I only hear the clicking sound from the driver front when I make a right turn. Also, if you have installed caliper covers, have you noticed if it makes turning the wheel more stiff? After I put it on, I swore it felt like a more stiff turn in the wheel but I'm wondering if that is just in my head. Thanks for any info!
You should flush your wheels to the fender using wheel spacers. It will solve your issue you are having.
