Hi Jonik, amazing job on the Punto! It is insane to think that such a little engine can run so much! I wanted to ask you, how did you manage to turn on and of the supercharger? Isn't it always connected to the belt?
My hand is above intake manifold, stock air filter goes there. The other end goes to intercooler and from there to back side of supercharger. Air filter goes on the front side of supercharger, mine is behind front bumper
Best 0-100km/h time was 8.5s with 5 speed gearbox but it broke under a year, it's only good for up to 150Nm. It was never that fast with reinforced 6 speed gearbox because there was no friction in first gear. That 6 speed gearbox is still in use, second gear is a bit crunchy though. Max power was 152HP and 200Nm with 866 camshaft, max boost 1.32bar. On lots of those videos I had my massive 500kg audio system in there which made a huge difference in acceleration
Awesome stuff man. I know you probably got this question a lot, but how much money did you have to spend to get your punto to that level (performance wise)?
I have the same engine in my Panda 169. Do you think that the Denso dan999 alternator will fit on my car? Need more amp's, my Denso dan517 can't handle my audio system. Greetings from the Netherlands
Hi Jonik, nice videos. I have the same car, Punto 1.2 8v. In the morning, when I first turn the car on, sometimes it fails, but it starts on the second try, but it starts very weak and engine light comes on yellow colour. Then I drive it for like 15 minutes, engine stars to behave normal and the engine warning light disappears. Could you give me any hint or suggestion for what it may be the issue? Many thanks on advance for your time.
@@JoniK1 thanks for the reply. Yes, it seems the temp gauge is working fine. It shows 90 degrees Celsius once it reaches the optimum temp. I don't know if I understanding this right. My knowledge about mechanic is very limited, forgive me.
Sounds like a fueling issue, first thing you should do before throwing parts at the problem is to get An obd scanner asap, it can get very expensive without one of those. But it definitely sounds like a fuel pressure issue, possibly a bad check valve in the pump or a bad regulator
@@chiefdenis thanks for taking your time to reply. Do you think those cheap Bluetooth obd readers could do the trick? I am aware that for proper job, obd reader is expensive I've seen on online, cheap obd readers.
@@korbendallas9689 absolutely, i got one of those early in the year, and i can't tell you how much it's saved me so far, it crazy how i was running around replacing parts that had nothing to do with the problem, scanner saved my pocket. The only downside is that they only scan the engine computer in most cars, if your car has multiple computers it probably wont be able to pull codes from the others, and it can only translate standard obd 2 codes, no oem specific codes, but what you get for the money you pay is tremendous. Any good bluetooth ELM 327 reader should serve you well, and they also have live readout of all sensors related to the engine.
Just wish the whin was quiter on it i was thinking of doing it to a 1.2 corsa then going to get it mapped but the whin would get on my nerves after abit 😂 but does look like it shifts
sounds like it runs super smooth and happy

@@JoniK1 thanks for the quick reply man! Ok, that explains a lot. Looking forward to see what you are operating with! Hi from Italy, keep it up!
Bravo!! Very good my friend!! What about ecu?? how you control the exra fuel needs?
I have Ecumaster DET3+ piggyback ecu and 2x bigger injectors
Ciao jonik 2 iniettori? Non tutti e 4?
Awesome. I want to add the m62 with the clutch button like you have. Are you using standard factory ECU?
Yes stock ecu and ecumaster det3+ piggyback

2. What was the increase in HP with that supercharger?

Hi!
Thinking about AMR 500 for Autobianchi A112 903cc 100GL engine. What do you think about it?
Should work fine
Hi, how are you, bro, where does the blowoff vacuum go in the carb?
Hi! Intake manifold
Love it man sounds awesome 🤘😸🤘
Hola, ese súper cargador AMR500 ¿funciona para un Lancer 2.0L?, ¿lo recomiendas?
Hi! A bit too small, I would go with Eaton M62
Nice job mate, but can it do any better that 11sec 0-100, as it does in this video?

Yes it should work fine
Looks like a fun project. I've got one of these superchargers on my suzuki swift, nearly finished installing. What modifications did you do for fuel?
Almost everything; 100% bigger fuel injectors, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, added fuel return line and installed adjustable fuel regulator
@@JoniK1 Nice one, thinking I'll have to do similar to my swift. I'm hoping for around 160hp, stock is 125, in a 900kg car should be interesting
