The Lord's timing is amazing. I am a brand new catholic (received this Easter!) and last night at RCIA we had a long talk about prayer and this very subject was brought up. I am a mom of (soon to be) 4 and your channel helped lead me to the Church! Thank you ❤️

6:53 - I also really appreciate Mother Teresa's "Do it Anyway" prayer. It was found written on the wall at her home for children in Calcutta:
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.
    Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
    Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.
    Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
    Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.
    Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.
    Be happy anyway.
The good you do today will often be forgotten.
    Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.
    Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Hi Heather! So glad you did a topic on this! How I make everyday a prayer is by offering all my prayers, works, joys, sufferings, and worries of the day at the start of the day.
I make an effort to pray a Hail Mary whenever I hear an ambulance pass by our neighbourhood (and there’s been a lot lately 😔)
And whenever I go to sleep, I unite my sleep with Jesus’ (something I learned while listening to Mother Angelica Live) and I always feel well rested ever since I’ve started doing it. ☺️
God bless you and your family!! 💕

Great video! I've had house guests for the last 5 months... Which is good because I've been really depressed since my husband died. But now I'm really happy to have time alone. I do have to work, but I work from home. So being alone almost all the time is allowing me to make my entire days basically spiritual retreats. I'm really trying to press into the Lord... And it's not difficult at all because I'm alone and don't have distractions. I'm so grateful now to God for this time in my life, which formerly seemed like a curse. I'm trying to learn more about my new Catholic faith (You are one of the big helps with that) and try to figure out what devotional elements and other wonderful tools that are available are the things that I should include in my life on a long-term basis, or in some cases, in the short-term so that I can learn something or build a habit during what is probably the last lap of my life here on Earth. First thing when I wake up in the morning I'm thanking him, because I had been waking up and being sad that I was still here. I have found that thanking him first thing in the morning really changes the perspective of my day. I teach students in China online early in the morning and I just want to be Jesus' hands reaching out to them, praying for them and preparing the soil of their hearts for seeds of the gospel. Throughout the day it's pretty easy to include Jesus in the rest of my day... I want to try to include Mother Mary as well, but that's a whole new habit! I love being able to stop and do a rosary or chaplet whenever I feel like God's putting on my heart. It's so much easier to do these things because I'm alone. I homeschooled my five children for 25 years, so I really really admire you being able to do this over the day with children. This video was a real encouragement toward what I'm trying to do. Thank you for all the time you spend putting these videos together to inspire and instruct us.

@A Catholic mom's life ... I was really asking God for a prayer routine and searching through your videos for weeks together..and here you are doing one.. The coolest part is I'm a Dentist and I was wondering how could I fit in a prayer in my busy schedule.. and God even answered me through you. Praise be to God. I usually offer all my works as a penance for the Holy souls in purgatory.. and when I work in patients if I have time I would offer a prayer for them to at least know more about Jesus . Because in my country( INDIA ) most people are from different religion. Thank you for making this video. God bless you and your family 💙

I set the alarm on my phone for 3pm and where ever I am at that moment, I day the Our Father. On quieter days, I get up in my office and walk into an empty room for a real reflection for a min...other days I am in the middle of a conversation with a client so it’s a little hurried and in my head. But I like that when that alarm goes off, for that second, I am thinking of God.

I've been watching your channel for a while and enjoy it. As a busy mom myself, I sort of thought you were nuts to want the extra work of a youtube channel, but this video really showed how pure your heart is. Most of the moms I know will complain about their work and chores and don't want more kids because they want more time to do things for themselves. I always try to tell myself it's a labor of love to care of people. I hope your message reaches people.

Hi Heather! I don’t have Instagram or Facebook so I can’t leave you a message in either of those places but I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your channel! I just discovered you about 3 months ago and you have brought me so much joy and comfort. You’re the Catholic friend I have always wanted to find! Haha ... I sadly don’t have any practicing Catholic friends (which breaks my heart because so many have been raised Catholic). Anyways, God is truly using you and the Holy Spirit is absolutely speaking through you too. Thank you so, so much for all you do! On another note...and I’m not sure if you already have a video on this topic...however, I would love if you did a video on how you handle birthdays with your children such as how much do you spend, do you have parties, how do you keep birthdays budget friendly, any traditions, etc.? Also, same goes for Christmas gifts for your kids. Do you have a budget, how many gifts do you get each child, etc.? Thank you so much! 😊

This may be because this season of life is a struggle as a mom of 3 and since you are a mom of 5... how? How do you logistically set aside time? It's possible and so important for your sanity to stay close to God especially when your life is in a hectic season. Keep up the good work momma!
