@@erastelya I know! We wanted to make sure we had it right before we shipped a bunch to the EU. You can order form the US site, shipping is pretty nominal as they are so light. I know that feeling though... NOOOO! 😂
Get a single flat sheet fold it in half and sew it closed on the side. Then you can slide the sleeping pad into it. Makes it cooler in the summer, quiet and washable. Nice review!
Informative video. True depiction of what a newbie hammock user would encounter. Its great to not have a video that edits out the "mistakes".. Height, tree distance for example. Mine is out for delivery today. I cant wait to give it a go. Please keep reviewing it as you use it with ideas and suggestions to help us other hammock newbies. (Also the English word for sticky tree stuff is "sap" tree sap.
I took my Haven on our Northcap trip last year while still riding through southern Sweden and Norway - and I was thrilled to get it cause I hate not being able to stretch out. But I could not really get a good night's sleep in this thing! Even with a full set of long merino underwear, a pullover, leggins and warm socks, a warm sleeping bag and a blanket it was really cold (even though temperature did not drop below 8 to 10°C outside!) - the air mattress couldn't hold any heat at all and there was no underquilt for that design so far. Plus the mattress was making the oddest sounds whenever I moved so slightly and the whole construction became also a bit lopsided during the night (at my 68kg!). My husband's classic hammock setup was WAY more comfy and warmer when I tried it the next morning. Now I seriously think of buying another setup, too, cause I'm really disappointed and even thinking about sleeping another night in the Haven makes me wanna run for a hotel right away.
Given the amount of gear you're carrying, I think I'm a more basic ADV dude than you! Thanks for the video. It's an added motivation for me to go ADV motorcycle camping now that spring has finally arrived. That Tiger sure is a nice looking bike.
I have a China Clone , probably made in the same factory, great layflat sleep , best camping experience so far. You should get Whoopie slings from DD or make your own like i did, ohh and make sure you dont have anything in your back pocket , i sprung a leak during the night on my last hang, i got a onewind tarp as i feel the Haven copy one was too small
Nice review, much appreciated. It would be interesting, once you get used to it, how much time it requires to set it up, and specially to put it back on the bike.
Unboxing out at the campsite is a big risk... hope they didn't forget any parts or you'll be stuffed. Always unbox at set up at home first, before you take new gear away with you. Then you might have taken some extensions for those tree straps, which are always a good idea with any hammock.
Noooo! 😂 Whoopie slings are a great addition for the suspects system. Thanks for the review. Happy adventures!
Unfortunately Haventents europe site dosen't sell whoopie slings.

@@erastelya get them from DD or make your own , DD also has the cable, i got 10m for £10 enough to make 2 and longer and cheaper than their own ones
@@adventureswithsteve2981 I already bought DD's whoopieslings, but thanks for the tip :)
Great video really makes you wanna go out there and enjoy nature

Informative video. What Happened this channel 😢?
Dejligt sted du har fundet dér! Er det i Danmark?
Ja, det er ved Karlsgårde sø, tæt ved Varde 📍
Nice! Og fedt spot. Kigger på samme "Hammock/Tent" . Formoder du bruger gopro til video. Hvad bruger du til lyd? Takker
God video! Og rigtig fedt set up 😁☺️

Hvor har du købt det telt ?
Keep your clothes on
cant hear a word you say - terrible low sound - you need a external microphone.
