i love how you talk about the picks "dont compare" "dont worry" and the others, when we learn guitar (at least for me) i always compare myself to others and think "why i cant play like that, i wish i could do this more fast" it was really important for me to hear those things, your mom must be a incredible woman

you are a beautiful human being -- "Don't worry! Don't compare! Don't expect too fast!" I started playing guitar while Hendrix was still alive. after all these years it is still great (and needed) to hear those words of wisdom and know you too trip over being hard on yourself. "Be kind to yourself!!" (noting the double!) but of course, you are a cat lover so...
I signed up for you Guitar Wisdom this month. I’ve been playing for a long time but I’ve had to take a few steps back to fill in some gaps in my playing.
