This is a great accessory to add on to your ski that I highly recommend. This cup holder with a 20z Tumbler will keep you hydrated while on the water. During my whole 10day Florida Tour I rode with my cup filled with ice water everyday. Ice didn't melt all the way and cup did not move an inch. I would say this cup hold and mount was able to withstand testing in different water conditions ranging from smooth to choppy to Big Swells and occasional jumping waves.

Nice! I did this mod last week.
FYI, drilling the right size hole lets the mount nipples pass through the side flares. Then there is no gap behind the mounts.
Either way, having a cup holder is awesome! 😀
Well dang. I didn’t really notice a gap. I will have to check. Lol. But yes the cup holder is definitely awesome.

Nice! You are going to love it. I need to make a correction to the video to use the bit size as instructed by BRP to make the holes. This will allow the plastic to insert through the hole and mount sit flush against the ski.

Great Video - instructions call for a 3/8" bit which I know you updated - as the mounting points should seat flush along the plastic (no gaps)
I wish they came up with one for the trixx 3up
If your getting slippage use a 12 pt socket it has more contact points

Old thread but it looks like the left cup holder pretty much covers the speaker controls. Is that true? I'm about to do the install but second guessing the left side.
What did you end up doing? I’m with the same doubt. Already bought it.
@@marcosmicael4153 only installed the right side and returned the left side bracket.
Awesome Video! My May pre order 300 Limited comes in at the end of the month and I definitely have to get this mod! I was about to ask how well it holds the cups in but the brutal cup holder test at the end of your video proves that! HAHA!!

Here’s a tip or 2 #1. Your socket has a concave in it made for bigger bolt or nut heads so if y’all have this problem I suggest that you either cut or grind it off so that it no longer has the concave #2. If y’all are tired of paying bunches of $$ for the push pin plugs on y’alls stuff jet skis, SXSs and 4-wheelers Walmart sells them on-line just look under plastic push pins for way less than buying from the dealership
Hi how are you?, I have a gtx 230 2024 i want to install the cup holder but i go on the instruction website and i can't see the paper you have that you cut out do you know by any chance where i can find that paper because i dont have it neither can i find it anywhere .
will the rod holder fit? just looks like the speakers will be in the way
Yes it definitely does. I just didn’t have it during the time of installation but did use it while I was in Florida.
Lower piece is for rod holder, so if you need only cup holder, you need to attach only upper piece. - Fishpro user
I may not fish but have been using it for umbrellas, flags, and camera sticks. lol

It’s for the Fishing Rod holder. I didn’t have it in time for the installation video. Works great as a Flag, umbrella and selfie stick also.

Yes I do, Standard oil changes and spark plugs. These newer skis don’t need much maintenance.

No unfortunately I don’t have one.
Tried to install on my GTR X and didn’t work.
It’s a different bracket. You need to select the one for your model.
Try using metric sockets. Usually 8 and 10 mm
Yeah I usually use a 10mm for lots of Seadoo stuff but had standard sockets closest to me 🤦♀️😂
I guess you won’t be able to install rod holders because the speakers are in the way?
The rod holders fit just fine.

you will find out to buy plastic bottles with lids,,, i had a can mountain dew all over after a ruff short ride now all i bring on vessel is anything that fits in and has a lid LOL I have an 2019 FISHPRO with both L/R front fishing/cup holder's I got 2 months a go
Yeah no cans and also using a good tumbler that has good seals are great.
What was the point of the smaller bracket on the bottom?
The mount for the fishing rod 🎣 or umbrella or flag holder
