    The stream was having some technical problems so their are few highlights that have static in them. Also my stream died midway through yordon throwing out france so I had to use a replay.

    Iirc, this was the 3rd game all year where we won, while trailing in the 8th or later. Also, Yordan Alvarez is the first player in MLB Postseason history to hit a walk off while his team was trailing by multiple runs. It's also only the 2nd walk-off HR in postseason history by a team down to its final out. And finally, his walkoff had a +91% Win Probability Added, the highest of any play in MLB playoff history. Dude's a Goat.

    THESE are the games that galvanize a team to a championship. I'm not guaranteeing anything....all I'm saying is that this is MASSIVE in building postseason momentum.
    They came out flat, JV looked super flat, the lay-off clearly affected them, but they FOUGHT. They didn't stop, they stayed in it just enough to have a chance and I gotta say, I don't think I've seen them play like this all year. And my god....Yordan is just......unreal. It just felt like he had it didn't it? Like....2 on, 2 out, down by 2 in the 9th and he got a chance? You just had that feeling he would do it. And my God did he come through. That was a BOMB.

    Alright so I seriously want yall to appreciate the moves they made for the playoff roster, and give Dusty some massive credit for this one.
    They left the two clearly worst relievers in Maton and Smith, off the roster. Smith was a shocker to me because I thought for sure they'd say "performance be damned, we need a lefty". Instead? They just took the best 12 pitchers they had.
    Secondly.....they KEPT HENSLEY! Hensley has looked pretty damn good in September, and had had some legit good ABs down the stretch. And I'm honestly shocked that Dusty actually made really really good moves in his pinch hitting decisions. Hensley with the grind AB to get on to start that 9th inning rally, and he kept Dubon and Meyers on the bench as defensive/pinch runner replacements.
    Seriously, what an awesome all around job by everyone. A rare bad day for JV, but the entire rest of the team picked him up.

    • @lowkeycam13
      @lowkeycam13 Год назад

      100 percent agree but funny story, Maton broke his wrist after punching a locker after a bad outing in the season finale. He might have been left off either way but still a crazy way to go

    • @imnotcreativeenoughh
      @imnotcreativeenoughh Год назад +1

      @@lowkeycam13 oh shiiiiiiit I did not know that..... well ya that makes sense he's left off lol.
      As much as I defend him for being way over hated, he definitely is way too unreliable to be on the roster. Had an absolutely lights out postseason last year, but I just didn't see that happening again.
