Welcome! Thanks for watching.
Love the videos! Just getting started with collecting junk silver. I come through your town once a month for work. Hoping to swing by next time I'm there!
Feel free to stop by anytime!
At least they wasn’t in a fire. LOL
The night is young…
12:39 It's 1865 not 1965. ;-)
Haha. I do that all the time. I even mention it in a few videos. Thanks for watching!
LYLE -- PLEASE increase the volume on your audio and/or get closer to the mic. Love your videos but can't hear you. Yes, all the settings on my device are up all the way.
I’ll see what I can do! Thanks.
Makes me ill to see holes drilled in old coins.🙄
The X on coins is done by coin collectors who are trying to make their own coin of that type more valuable by defacing other coins in the same category. It's just selfish evil minded coin collectors that do that, so I'm sure it's a tiny minority of people that do it. I see that all the time with modern clad collectible coins, and of course you're bound to run into in older coins as well.
Interesting. I had another deal come in the day I filmed this video. I still had the coin out so I asked if they run across it. She said yes. Her thought was maybe it’s caused by confederates who are angry about the Union. Interesting thought. But who knows where these coins have been since they were minted.
Still a nice collection of odds and ends. Thanks for sharing.
