I listen to Turnaround quite often on "Hormoaning". It's always struck me as so very "Kurt", as the lyrics are pretty much about not taking yourself too seriously. Always makes me feel better!

"Who said don't look back? Don't believe 'em. Go for that crazy sounding restaurant. Cause they're gonna try and get behind you
Don't you let them do it
You know what I'm talking about?
You hear me talking? You hear me talking?!"

If anyone reading this hasn't already, check out Devo's first album. They were totally punk. One of the best.

To be fair, I wouldn't really describe Devo as "synth pop". They certainly had songs that leaned towards that for sure, but they're probably closer to something like "electro punk". They kind of straddled a few different genres really. Their early stuff is very much punk adjacent. The second half of "Gut Feeling/Slap your Mammy" is basically proto-hardcore.

He was a huge d e v o fan....and Loves NIRVANA , especially Kurt. He was the one that got me more into d e v o.....Thanks Randy!!!.....
