      @@ryloken3528 Unit way better. Koufax isn't even the GOAT Dodgers lefty. Clayton Kershaw is better. People don't realize that bc we tend to deify greats of the past. Especially if our grandpa sipped on iced tea and told us all about Koufax and how good he was. Also, Mickey Mantle never hit a 643-foot homerun.

    I met Randy Johnson on accident. I was a freshman at ASU and I went to the ASU vs. Oregon volleyball match for extra credit in some class. Apparently Randy Johnson's daughter was on the Oregon team. It was chaos outside the stadium and some really tall guy and awkward guy asked me if he was in the correct line. I said yes and he got behind me. In my head I thought this guy looks like Randy Johnson.
    Only later after my friend said did you see Randy Johnson at the game. Did I realize I had talked to him and the guy actually was Randy Johnson. 😂😂
    He was so unsure of himself in that situation. Totally the opposite of his bad ass self on the mound. What a humble cool dude and absolute stud.

    • @jumbo4billion
      @jumbo4billion 5 лет назад +1

      On the mound he'd have an aura of dominance you could feel through the tv, our sitting room would be full of silent tension. I'd always though "Never want to meet that guy". Seeing him interviewed years later was amazed by how gentle and humble he was; he came across as a man who loved life and saw opportunity to learn from every mistake. Amazingly positive guy, think I kinda love him now.

    7:24 seeing Randy Johnson in the homerun trot is the greatest thing ever. I was at that first game against the Pirates in 1998 in the Astrodome, way up in the rightfield upper deck. The place was packed and it was electric in that dome that day. It was the first I'd seen Randy live and it was memorable. We got him from Seattle as a mid-season rental and thought it would push us through to the World Series but unfortunately that didn't happen. But he fucking dominated the National League that season (and beyond). FUCKING UNIT BABY. One of the most dominant pitchers ever to grace a mound. Surly six-foot ten southpaw with a sizzling slider. Imagine facing him.

    Holy crap dude you must be a Yankee fan. Or just super lazy. You didn't include any of his performance from the 01 playoffs or World Series in which he was a co mvp or his playoff performance with the Mariners but you included almost half the video of him as a yankee, a very bitter part of his career.

      Couldn't find any clips. Sorry I tried. And trust me I'm not a Yankee fan. How could you say something so cruel.

      Can you two please calm down... This is Randy's day. Stop your bickering.

      ***** I know, my statement was saying there was no footage from the world series with the Dbacks OR his playoff performance with the Mariners. And there's plenty of videos of his playoff performances and his Perfect game so idk what the creator of this video is talking about. Maybe he/she should change the name from "Randy Johnson Career Highlights" To "Only a couple of his achievements and a bunch of Yankee footage."

      Daniel Hartlauer I'm not going to argue over this because I'm just happy that you watched my video. You can fill free to make an RJ Career Highlights video with whatever it is that you want in it.

    The music really overpowers the video. I think it would be better without. Cool highlights though.

      Same I've always been a fan of the way commentators react to great plays, weither that's baseball, basketball football or soccer. Passion cannot be overlooked.
