I love how the album art on the music player shows instructions for the hand gestures performed during The Lesser Ritual of The Pentagram, the chanting we hear in the track ‘[ost] (spi)ritual’ is that ritual being performed before it’s interrupted. There’s so much attention to detail woven into this album and PH:SH

There’s two forms of the ritual I mentioned, one is “Banishing” and the other is “Invoking”, as explained by good old Wikipedia: “The banishing ritual is perceived as banishing any chaotic or impure forms of the elements from the magician's circle by tracing the pentagrams in the air and by the power of certain divine names. The invoking ritual is perceived to invoke pure forms of the elements.”

Something I found out is the ritual has two version, a banishing one, and an invoking one, but we don’t know which is being performed. I reckon there’s a lot of world building spread throughout the lyric videos, and any upcoming music videos. The video to announce the album was dropping at midnight is technically the music video for [ost] dreamseeker, theres so much going on in such a short clip, but the very first thing you hear is the ending to “One Day the Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death”.

It was the first concert Oli went to. I grew up with LP as well. Their legacy has been BMTH blueprint to a tee. From the demos, LP underground inspired stuff, filming concerts - back stage stuff and the recording process. It feels good but sad at the same time because we won’t hear any new stuff anymore (apart from unreleased). Meteora 20 hit me like a truck at 120mph.
So PH3 gonna be inspired in Doom? Mixed with Pop? I mean, its giving me the vibes from Code Mistake. The actual album is so sad and happy that makes me want to have the PH4 deathcore right now.
This band has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND. Genuinely shocked at this new project and the work put into all the lore and the website etc. I understand the delays now
Right around the 43 second mark sounds a bit like CORPSE, it would be possible to see additional songs on the physical album? But at the very least, in the past collaborations have gotten a track for each artist.

There is a "noise" at the end of the new song called Dig it. if you run it through a software it draws the picture of a QR code that leads to a website. it requires a password (found on the album cover as a form of a bar code) and it leads you to a "desktop" with a bunch of demo songs
These just demos, and b-sides I feel that were made that didn't fit with the sound and vibes they were really wanting for, for PH2. I feel these be more on PH3 or PH4 cus they doing two more albums in the Post Human phase.
if you read through most of the lyrics you'll notice that PH2 is a very personal album about oli and bring me so far. i do think that when writing really personal stuff it kinda adds to the importance if you keep it the way you feel like it must be. and not add anything extra to be more "listener/radio friendly." parting ways with jord, his addiction possibly coming back, i can only name a few topics because i've only digested half of the album. its definitely not bangers you'd listen to in the car. i feel like its an album you have to sit down and listen to as a whole and really take your time to digest it. thats how i've come to appreciate it a lot more. even though yes i agree, survival horror and this demo is probably their more "banger" materials.

Yeah, the idea of something preventing someone from banishing it is a great detail with the story they're creating with post human.

Since Post Human 3 will be heavily EDM-inspired, I guess these are the demos for the next EP
