I'm a total Aimpoint fan boy, I got it on all my firearms. Even as back up sights on scoped rifles, Crossbows, Compound Bows, old Drillings, pistols, revolvers, shotguns, you name it stick em everywhere! :) Even on air rifles and air pistols! They are also very good for people like me who are getting a bit older, eyesight does become an issue with age unfortunally and Aimpoint sights makes it a bit more easy.
So on static or going away targets or as I’d say easy or gimmie birds it works ? 🤔 said the same when JC and Digweed reviewed it, genuinely no idea where this fits into the clay shooting world, it’s fixing a problem that it basically creates by its design. In my opinion, it’s a product developed for a totally different platform of shooting being square pegged into the round hole of clay shooting. Product looks great, just keep it on rifles. There are better fixes for clay shooting issues that cost a far lot less, few lessons for eg with Ed, (other coaches are available)would be my advice for anyone with any of the reported issues that this can supposedly fix. All my opinion of course. 🇬🇧 ❤
Not sure you can raise the rib on a shotgun 3/4” without having to have a new stock fitting. And that’s basically what you are doing. No idea why instructors like myself would want to start teaching a student to aim a shotgun and that’s basically what you are now doing. Instruction should be concentrating on teaching good shooting techniques, that will pay dividends down the road, not a quick fix that you’ll need to unlearn. But I know you know this as well and are just trying to pay the bills. Toss it on a hunting handgun where it belongs and no doubt it’s a wonderful device! 👍🏼
As a cross dominant shooter but having found my solution that I am 100% confident in, I am intrigued to try it. However, like you say Lloyd, these come under the CPSA banned sighting aids. So there is no point even trying it, as it wouldn't be useable in competitions. I am also a bead user and can't see how it would be any different, unless you could tell me. Great video as usual.
A great review. Well explained . Could be tempted. Eye dominance issues and not getting out often enough to get any good 🤣 this probably right up my street
Take a trip to Ben Husthwaite, you'll save a fortune over this. He charges a lot less than people think. Put me on the right path when another You Tube expert, couldn't even diagnose me correctly.
I bought one a few months ago and mount it 2/3 down the barrel by the middle bead. It fixed my left eye dominance right away. The only minor downside is that guns with it attached don’t fit into a sleeve well.

Interesting review. Not sure I’d personally get past how unnatural it looks on a double. Thanks for sharing
The thing that I want to see the most on your channel is your perazzi in the field !
You will have to ask the new owner. I sold it in January.
@@lloydyp I feel sorry to hear that !
