Andy, another great reaction! As a (retired) music educator and jazz musician for 40+ years, it is wonderful to hear a true professional like yourself explaining the technical and artistic aspects of vocal music, while showing your visceral reaction to Angelina's performance. She is a force of nature. I'm sure you noticed how effortless it was for her to go up to the Eb at the climax. The breath control she has is amazing. But, I don't think most people other than trained musicians realize the breath control that is needed to sing in the low register like she does. Having listened to literally everything she has on RUclips, I think she has at least a 3-1/2 octave range, if not more. I sense, too, that she has absolute pitch. Everything she sings is spot on intonation-wise. Wouldn't you love to have her as a student? I always say, Angelina doesn’t sing songs. She sings emotions that go directly to our souls creating beauty and joy. This is Angelina’s world. We just live in it (thank goodness)!

The whole point of AGT is to find a talent that can sell out tickets to a 2 hour show. Angelina is the "it" ! Goosebumps and tears guaranteed. World class. Top billing. T he other acts were limited.
Even Queen Woows this performance on Twitter. Will be mesmerizing if Angelina and Queen do this song together one day.
That's real talent, Angelina takes this great world hit and makes something completely new, overwhelming. She turns this successful rock song into an amazing jazz / blues/ Soul song. Angelina arranged this new version herself. With this incredible voice Angelina did it again. Angelina is always humble and reserved. In her interview she is a bit nervous but in her performance she is in her world and is never nervous. See in her face . by the way, Angelina designed her clothes herself, the layout is from her grandmother. She is a well-known painter ✌️😎💕🇩🇪🇪🇺

Because we have had the luxury of watching her grow and with that her singing ability has matured it’s like Angelina has 600,000 aunties and uncles who are so emotionally tied to this performance and are very proud of her achievements

Yes, the arrangement is stunningly original. She took a standard and found a new song in it. Imagine as she reacts to other music we have been listening to for years, and not truly heard. Also, glad you noticed her family. They are so important for young talents. Check out Angelina's mother pausing during the song to check on her other daughter, and wiping a tear from the girl's cheek: 3:49

I've never seen anyone in my life that can grab an audience from the first note the way Angelina can. I loved the quick flash to the other contestants, all sitting there with that 'uh oh' look on their faces. They're certainly aware of what just happened. :- ) And you are so right. She owned that stage. I can't wait to see what she brings to the finals. Another like from Canada.
same happened in NGT,other contestants immediately knew they could only fight for the runner up position.
Alma Deutscher and Amera Wilhagen both can do that. But I agree shes one of a kind.

Master of Voice, I am thrilled with your reaction! I’ve been jumping up and down since I first heard her on Norway’s Got Talent. Many of her covers surpass the originals. Two off the top of my head, STAY and VALERIE, but there are dozens more. Watching her at each turn of her development, her parents have done a master’s job of letting their child be a child. The rest is pure Angelina Jordan. History being here now.

Andy, just revisiting. I don't know of any artists other than Angelina where you go back to listen to video's over and over and over again AND REACT AS IF IT WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU SAW HER. We wait by patiently for her to explode upon the global stage and make live concert appearances. Note: I sincerely hope that her concerts have ETM's standing by outside because a lot of us will start keeling over when we see her live and pass out! No lie!
Our barefooted Princess of Soul soon to be Queen with a thousand voices has capped another milestone in her journey to music greatness!!! That said, you haven't seen nothing yet! This is just a taste. She is saving the best for last! Mark my words!!

I only watched the show because I knew Angelina was going to be on it, and to tell you the truth I was very nervous for her. Up until her performance the show was clearly being over produced, over hyped, and the crowd was definitely being coaxed to over react. Then something strange happened. It's like the producers picked up on the shy, quiet nature of Angelina and they conveyed it well in her intro piece. Also, I have been wondering what she would select to sing. I was nervous for her in that regard too, but I had confidence in her ability to do the right thing. I must say, after her first two notes I was shocked. I never expected her to take on Freddie Mercury and Bohemian Rhapsody. That was a huge challenge. But her unique arrangement and stunning vocals had the judges and crowd in silent awe from the beginning. It was a virtuoso performance. Clearly Angelina outclassed the other contestants on this first night.

So glad you decided to jump ahead in your Angelina journey to see this performance! It's like you said, she pulls you in with just the first few words. So far you have only seen her younger stuff, so I can see this is a bit of a surprise for you. Now that you have seen her current self, I look forward to seeing you do some of her more recent works. I have never been a hardcore "fan" of anyone before.... but she has something very special, that I just feel the need to support in any way I can. One of the ways I know I can support her is to keep her visible in these reaction channels.... so that's what I try to do.

Already she has such a controlled mature voice that conveys more emotion than she could have experienced herself as a young girl. 5 years of singing in the limelight from the first time on Norway's Got Talent at 7 years old, and She Never showed any sign of being nervous, just sings as if she was strolling down a street, and she ALWAYS sings the song in a way far better than anything you've ever heard. That's Angelina, the best singer of our time.

A study of the beauty of the simple yet poweful core of this soulful song. Aiming to show us a symbiosis of a tense song and our singing supergirl stripping it down to an intence harmonic work of art, much more valuabe than trying to figure out the way to victory and money through a catchy number. I am somebody who discovered Angelina over the summer. So proud of her! This is about as exciting as when Glennis Grace was on America's got talent just about a year and a half ago.

Norwegian here, was also 6 ft at 13... didn’t grow any taller after that though.

It is a reality that most of the performances I have seen have been her rehearsals!
All her fans are so proud of her and this was so amazing. I've watched her grow up singing, from 18 months in her crib to this performance at AGT Champions & I feel like she is a member of my family. Most important is her big heart and empathy for poor children around the world. She has already helped raise $21 million for children by her singing at charity events. She makes you want to open your wallet for a good cause.
Please react to her version of the classic Mommas & the Poppas "California Dreaming." She did the same thing with that song that she did with "Bohemian Rhapsody." She can't do 4-part harmony by herself, so she slowed it up, stripped it down & made a whole new song. No problem! The remnants of the Mommas & Pappas loved it so much they shared it on their IG, just like Queen did for her rendition of their song. Who does that?? That's how much they respect this musical phenom.

She definitely has a Norah Jones/Adele vibe with a heavy dose of jazz and her approach to this song is so refreshing and current. I'm also looking forward to hearing more from her!

Once I dreamed that I was in Heaven with a group of Angels who were listening to Mozart and God was in an adjacent room listening to Bach. I asked one of the Angels if he could play the Angelina CD that I had with me. After listening to her for a while, God came to the room and asked to borrow the CD because he wanted to listen to it too. HE never returned it back to me even after many reminders. I have to figure a way of getting it back or replace it.

when she was six years old, Angelina met a homeless, shoeless girl. After they talked for a long time, she gave the girl her shoes and vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them. Since that time, Angelina has always performed barefoot in public.

I am so proud of the values of this girl, and so are her real fans. She designs much of her own clothing, writes and makes songs of her own (they are awesome btw.), chooses which songs to cover (and a lot of them are from a more or less forgotten period in time), making and choosing the arrangements around songs, and so on. Who does those things at her age (and younger, she started this some years ago)?
Instead of embarrassing yourself, you should dig into her, and learn some stuff. She is truly one of a kind.

I don’t watch American talent shows either but I’m not so sure Heidi Klum wasn’t already a fan before the competition. Angelina has the artistic courage of HuaHua, that was a gutsie song choice like Bang Bang was, the greats take risk.
